The definition of a diaper wearer who is super-stealth. Think Ninja (but not turtles).

Wetters

Nappie-Ninja? Ninja-Nappie? Diaper-Ninja?

Ok. I give up.

Wait, better be a cloth backed diaper. Any crinkle and stealth mode is gone.

All jokes aside, and it is good to get a laugh out of wearing diapers, this brings up an old thread. "If you were to be cured of your incontinence...would you still wear diapers for 'special occasions'?"
Here we have a Major Capitol city ordering its traffic control department to wear diapers to work and use them to stay on their jobs. Then they suggest that those (a hundred thousand or more) people who will be lining up to view the Pope also wear diapers. AND it was said in a totally nonchalant manner as if it was normal. We beat our brains out trying to hide the fact we are wearing diapers and cry out that it should not carry any stigma. Then when a government agency treats it as a necessary tool for work and wise idea for people waiting hours to view an event we make fun of the idea. Can you imagine being in the city and casually mention to a friend or stranger we met while waiting for a parade, "I hope this doesn't go on a lot longer, my diaper is pretty wet!!" And they answer, "Yeah, so is mine." All with no more shame or embarrassment than saying your legs are tired from standing too long?
Would you wear diapers again for certain occasions if you were cured today?
My answer - Yes Papa

Of course I would, I trust them.

I'm with you Papa, I get frustrated at times with the contrary opinions that people have about us adults wearing diapers. If only they could see life for a day in our shoes or diapers.

Well, youre right in a sense, Papa.. but, really, despite diaper wear being convinent for traffic cops and the faithful lining up to see the pope.. the fact remains.. that it would only be convinenent for no 1 and not 2.. because, as we all know, fecal matter is quite abrasive to the skin and requires immediate clean up and changing.. I can't imagine that telling the officers to use them for all funcitons would be a good idea.. you'd wind up having an outbreak of cops with sore red bottoms.. not to mention the fact that no diaper on the face of this earth would hold an entire 24 hour's worth of urine.. youd have to stop to change sometime, or risk leaking or a major rash.. not to mention no one would want to be around you.. i suppose the point is the artice didn't specify how long they would go without changing.. all that being said, sure, i can see this being acceptable as use of a diaper.. after all.. NASA requires it of their astronauts.. but then agian..the g-forces of liftoff actuall casues the bladder to empty... neccesitating containment..

While there is a convenience factor, it must be balanced with concern for hygine and odor.. I know i wouldn't want to be in a wet diaper for 8 hours..but thats just me..

Seriously, I hope the Manila PD is conscious of taking hygine precautions..rash cream wipes.. etc..

Peace out!

Rob

Can you imagine if they made the beginner error of choosing a diaper that wasn't absorbent enough e.g an off the shelf one for the entire police force...whoops. And imagine the shock if you held on and on and on trying to avoid using it and then it couldnt hand a very large void? Eek!

Events such as this, not to mention the upcoming papal visit to the USA next fall, put diaper wearing in a whole new light. I would like to have the Desitin/Equate concession for next fall. Talk about incontinence coming out of the closet? The closet has just been burned to the ground.
