I'm starting to take chlorophyll tablets to handle semi-frequent BM voids in disposable diapers, both at night and during the day (work, socializing and whatnot). I'm sure it will be obvious when these tablets kick in, given that the smell will begin to hopefully fade away, but does anyone have a general timeframe? I've heard anything from 3 days to 60 days for some people, which is a pretty crazy spread. Any information would be fantastic thanks!

About 2 weeks is what I found to be reliable odor control. The dose you take and the frequency will also have an impact on the amount of odor.

Chlorophyllin copper (Nullo) usually takes 2-4 days to kick in. Effectiveness depends on dosage, diet, and body chemistry.

I am double incontinent (bowel and bladder) and have had very good luck with Nullo. I primarily use it for diaper odor protection in social situations. Last year I was on a lengthy vacation trip to Istanbul, Turkey, followed by a long cruise. The chlorophyll in copper markedly reduced diaper odor.

The downside is that it tends to be rather constipating (as do the competing products using bismuth subgallate (Devrom), so use as low a dosage as you find to be effective for your needs. Because of opiate pain meds, I found the maximum dosage to be too constipating and had to reduce my dosage.

Good luck!

Perhaps my body chemistry is to blame, but if I take more than 1/2 a Nullo tablet each meal, I soon have the body odor of a barnyard.

That's pretty interesting since that's pretty much the opposite of what those tablets are supposed to do.
