I have some fabric lined plastic pants I no longer use.
I never found a good way to clean them without ruining the plastic.
I have also lost a lot of weight. 37 kg, that is 81 lbs. (still shrinking)
Now the challenge is to make use of my old stuff. I have removed the
plastic, and think of making them a kind of pullup to use over disposables at night.
If anyone have done this, and can give me some tips and techniques, it would be
very helpful.
I am also planning to make a kind of contoured diaper to wear over disposables
at daytime. I have experimented earlier on this, but the results have not been
good enough to be discrete under normal clothes.
Are there any download patterns or descriptions on this?
Or how to make simple pullups?
Also, have anyone tried to adjust the size of PUL pants? Any tips?

Congratulations on your weight loss! That takes a great deal of will power and effort; many of us keep trying to lose the extra pounds and usually without much success!

And good for you for getting creative with sewing. I did a lot of my own sewing fabrication, but that was way back, before we had the array of stuff now available to us in cloth diapers and plastic pants of every variety.

I would think you could find information on line. I would think the sewing folks would have many sites for talking...chat forums like this one, and resources for patterns for just about anything. Some patterns may be free, others will cost something.

I think if you look for and join a sewing forum you would be likely to get good help with your projects from people who sew and would be familiar with patterns and where the best place is to get patterns.

Another congrats of the getting healthy and losing some weight, not an easy feat! I poked around online, never came across anything in the way of patterns that was free that was not for infants/children, but did see some pics of people that fabricated adult diapers, just never had patterns, only asst. pics. A sewing forum would be my choice on where to go next as well... Good luck, keep of posted on your progress, both on the health front, and the cloth adventure, 8) Puffy
