Sandy, I have to agree with you. I personally check this board every day, sometimes several times a day, and it's pretty dead!.......Paul

Sandy,
This board has many members but many must have just forgot or have no more interest in the topics. I like to keep active hoping I can help some people. Most people who are incontinent don't have anyone to talk to except their doctor. They don't have much to say, though.
Personally, I do not know any one I'm in direct contact who is incontinent. Very few people around me know I wear diapers. This board is the only way I can talk to other people, like myself, who are incontinent and have chosen to wear a diaper. I really appreciate you as a fellow diaper wearing girl who answers my post.
Any body out there who is a member, don't be afraid to post every now in then. Sorry about rambeling. Keep in touch! ............Paul

Sandy and Paul raise a good point about this (or any other) board and activity or lack thereof. I often wonder "where is everyone?"

Speaking for myself, I check in and read anything new at least three times a week. If I see something that strikes a cord with me, I'll jump in.

I certainly hope people are not afraid to post! I certainly hope that people don't feel they have nothing to contribute and just go on reading but never posting.

Yeah, posting takes time! You can read without logging in, but to reply you have to log in and that can take time with dial up

And we all lead busy lives, over booked if you will, and struggle to keep up with everything. Often posting on an incon board is low priority; "I'll post something tomorrow, I don't have time right now" and then, tomorrow never comes.

I belong to a Yahoo Group which I promote here and I promote this site on that Group. I invite you to visit and consider joining, where the discussion is on-going, everyday. I'm sorry I don't have the url at my fingertips, but check back messages-I have posted it not too far back.

Sandy, There are probably many reasons why people are not posting. Summer is a busier time of year and many are more prone to be more active and invovled this time of year thus less likely to be sitting around and on the internet. Also I think many, including myself, sometimes find our incontinence and the "problems" that go with it frustrating and talking about it only raises that anxiety. Talking helps so much in some ways and yet also higlights the fact we are incon and stuck in diapers.
I recently met another incon at a support group and she and I are "seeing" one another and that also seems to cut the need to post. We talk about our situation and there is nothing better than real live talk to help you laugh, cry, or find empathy. You certainly have found that sitting around with others who share your "problem" highly helpful.
Comparing notes works best if you are both in diapers. (She in disposable, me usually in cloth). Fall may bring back the posters so hang in there. I do apprechiate reading how well you deal with all of this. Thank you, Papa

Sandy,
Paul is still here! I check the board several times a day to see if I need to reply. Papa is right about people's busy schedule in the summer. I was out for about 11 days first of June traveling on vacation in Alaska! That was fun. You ever pack for a trip that long using disposable diapers?

I packed about 4 dozen and it was just enough. Keep posting, Sandy, I'm reading! ................Paul Martin

Hi--

I, too, have been watching the board and responding when I could; bed pads, boosters, etc. I will be offline for the period of 6/29 through about 7/10, though....I hope to have a lot to catch up when I get back! I already shipped disposables ahead to my destination, so that should hold me for the trip (I hope----don't want to have to resort to Depends or some other virtually useless "protection").

where i am at is work  in all honesty however i think that the reason there isnt much posting is this.

other forums like cars, and models and the like feel like they can openly post about something, this kind of forum is kinda privae if you will, its nice to hae the support, but once we/ they get the support they need and feel they got a grip on this problem well they dont post anymore.

maybe we need some posts like "did you all see that tv episode last night, whatcha think?)

just my opinion,
I mean i dont see people wanting to post things like "(man I had the nastiest bm today!, thank goodness i was prepared) I just dont see this happening, once we get a handle on things why would we want to keep talking about it? I think all we want / need is to go back at getting into life with some normality.
