I've worn for years, even thick cloth ones, and never had anyone make a single comment about how I walked. Also, Depends and store brands are literally paper thin, there is no way they will make you walk any differently.

If your knees are touching when you are normally standing up you have some spinal problems that need to be addressed by a doctor.

I have worn disposables for many years and I don't think anyone would have a clue that I'm wearing a diaper. It might be the pants that you wear over your diaper. If your pants are tight fitting, it might be more obvious that you have something extra down there. I wear loose fitting pants so it isn't a big bulge where my diapers are. I can only suggest that you wear at least one size bigger when you wear your diaper. The other possibility is wearing a cover pant (underpants or plastic pants). That might make the diaper closer to your body and make it bulge out more. As was suggested, the only possible way a stranger would have a clue that you were wearing a diaper is if you wore many layer cloth diapers (as an AB/DL might). I don't think most of us are exhibitionists in that way. I really don't care if someone knew I was wearing a diaper. Many times, I see the "tails" of my disposable hanging out on the sides. I don't know if anyone would know that to be a diaper if they weren't familiar with them already. I'm pretty sure I don't walk differently unless there is something else down there. That happens now and then.

I've never had anyone say anything about what I was wearing for underwear and I wear the Abena M-4's, plastic pants and a boxer brief over that. I've also worn the above and added a doubler or two and still no comments or funny looks. I do, however crease them with my hand so they follow my butt's contours a little better. I also wear my shirts out and try to get long tails. That helps hide the extra padding.

No one ever mentioned anything about me wearing diapers and I'm sure they didn't guess. However I did get a few comments about how I walked.
Actualy someone once asked me if I have a diaper rash and I was sure he meant to point out I am wearing a diaper but i kept my cool and calmly asked him why he is asking such a question. It turned out he simply noticed I am walking with my legs apart somewhat so he thought I might have a rash in that area, but he didn't mean it actualy came from a diaper.
The truth is I haven't gotten much comments, none recently, and I'm sure no one realized the real reason. However it still makes me uneasy.

Everybody walks differently. People that ride horses walk bow-legged. Many people walk pigeon toed. Some walk on their heels while others walk on their toes. Some waddle. Women tend to have a swing to their walk. :) I wear out the outsides of my heels on my shoes. I'm just glad I can walk. I've never had anyone approach me and ask me if I am wearing a diaper due to the way I walk. My wife has told me many times to go and change because I'm sagging but then she keeps an eye on my behind. :)

The only time my wife says anything is if there's an odor and that's not very often with the Devrom.

Depends and average disable diapers shouldn't have any effect on your gait. I wear disposables at work and never walk funny. Outside of work I am in cloth diapers and vinyl plastic pants. Even with cloth diapers, I don't think I walk funny. The only time I will walk funny is if I have a messy diaper or am in a thicker night diaper just before bed.

In my experiences the general public is so oblivious to the world around them that they won't notice someone walking around in even the thickest diapers.

No offense to anyone, but this post sounds made up.

Not only is the public oblivious but I dont think they give a darn. Seriously, look how some are dressed on the outside, some of which are offensive. Worrying about somebody noticing you wear a diaper would be the least of your worries.
