Hello everyone

Im sorry to say that my dad passed away tonight from cancer 2\18\2012.
2 days ago he was doing fine, but he had a bad stroke yesterday.
He is at peace and pain free now.

Schoppy

Very sorry to see this Schoppy. My dad passed away a little over a year ago. I still miss him, badly some days. He also died from cancer. They are both at peace now.

Doug

I am so sorry for you and the family. Losing a parent is always very difficult....they are "always there" in our lives, growing up and we somehow think they will be there always, forever.....

Yes, he is at peace and pain free.

You will miss him....always.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Schoppy.

My heart goes out to you. I lost my dad just over five years ago when he killed himself. We still don't know why he did it or what lead to it, but it happened all the same and really the why doesn't matter. I got through by focusing on the things I needed to do (close his business, manage his bills, take care of my mother), and then the emotions didn't overwhelm me. Best of luck, friend...

Thank-you everyone for your wishes and prayers during this time.
I know that the next couple days will be hard on my family as we go through the funeral process.
My mom is doing fine and has accepted the fact that he is in a better place, but its still hard to see him go.

Sorry to hear of your loss Schoppy :( Never easy to lose a parent. I lost my mom almost 12 years ago now and I still miss her.

Sorry to hear that! It's always tough to lose a loved one no matter what the reason. But, he will not suffer now. I know I'd want it that way.

My parents both died in late 2005, one month apart, then my stepdaughter (38) died in 2008 and we got her two kids!

Sorry for your loss. I lost my best friend to cancer back in 2009. My best wishes to you and yours.
