[quote="Irish Mike"]Hiya,
Personally I think there is a heck of difference between even the bulkiest adult nappy and explosives!
Like i am sure that the stuffing of a nappy is very different to the bulk of C4.

Well, I'm thinking of several Comedy Central Open Mic responses to Mike's remarks, but this is my first post here, so I'll err on the side of propriety. ;-)

Dangoch, I've averaged almost a flight per week since 9/11. I wear a below-knee prosthesis, so I have to get the full pat-down every single time. Coming back from Philly a couple of weeks ago I had no problem with my pads and stuff, and Philly's close enough to NYC that they tend to give things pretty careful scrutiny.

In any case, I've found almost every single TSA rep to be courteous, professional, and tactful, maybe even more so now with the full-body rubadubdub.

Eh, it was just a simple innuendo, given the immediate context —

"Hey, you checkin' me THERE for explosives? Well, yeah, I GOT yer explosives, RIGHT HEAH!"

Not that I recommend making ANY such statements, unless one wants an in-depth first-hand (woops, two more set-ups right there) tour of the TSA's facilities.

Heeheh! I figured thats where you were going with the humor :D

Personally i think the whole airport scanner thing is being taken way too seriously as regards privecy issues.
but maybe thats just me..

personally, I dont care. To be honest, I have nothing to hide in regards to a security threat, and I would like to enjoy a flight in a little peace of mind complete checks of everyone getting on my plane have been carried out.

My only complaint is that despite all this, if a terrorist was commited enough in the first place, regardless of whatever security checks are in place they will allways find a new path or way around things, the best we can do is keep these options to a minimum.

Ultimately airport security is EVERYONE'S resposibility.

They still did not address and adult wearing a diaper or I missed it.I am guessing unless you are wet that it would not pick it up.
