It's probably been talked about before but I just wanted to weigh in on the use of Nullo tablets. Most days I may go 6-7 hours before a change & well I notice an odor & sometimes worse some days than others. Knowing that during these times I cannot change I started to take Nullo & I have to say that these things work! It's been just over 2 weeks that I have been taking them & last week my wife said she noticed a difference when I come home from work. So if odor can be a problem for you maybe you can look into these also. Just thought I would pass this along & no I don't have stock in the company.

I have not tried Nullo. I have tried Innermint tabs as I received a trial package a couple years ago with an order from Babykins. I ordered more as the sample they gave out wasn't for long enough to see a difference. I used Innermint tabs for just shy of 4 months. I did not notice a big enough difference in the intensity of my urine smell to continue the tabs. Actually during the day my urine does not have that strong an odor but when I wake up in the mornings the urine smell is much stronger. I think my urine must be more concentrated when I sleep. It is much darker in color than my urine during the day. My girlfriend says that she has never noticed an offensive urine odor even when I wake in the morning but I can certainly smell it. My best method of odor control is to keep myself clean and not to remain in a wet diaper too-long as well as proper washing of my diapers (I double rinse) and plastic pants. Most disposable diapers have odor control built into the diaper but these too can develop an odor if not changed soon enough.

In response to the odor issue I found if I keep well hydrated the problem of odor is minimal. My urologist told me that if your urine is clear then you are hydrated enough. The only problem then is I need to change more often. You win one battle and lose another. Even at that I now feel that wearing diapers has allowed me to enjoy my retirement and travel around the country.

I hate the darn things but short of surgery they do the job. In another thread they were talking about what makes a DL. I'm a DH (diaper hater) but I'm also a DPL (dry pants lover)
