So now I've got to wear these stupid diapers now because my dad thought it would be a genius idea to drive me to school, drunk. It's sort of been working okay so far, (besides the fact I'm walking around in a diaper now) except sometimes it starts to stink and people are noticing the smell. Thankfully, no one has figured out why yet but I don't know how long that is going to last. So I asked my doctor, who instead of justing telling me he doesn't know, decided to make a joke out of it. He told me to start putting one of those pine tree things in my back pocket. (ha ha) So I'm wondering if any of you can tell me how to fix this problem in a subtle way. Since I'm asking stupid questions, does anybody mind telling me what AB/DL is and if I'm making one of those kinds of topics.

Hey annoyed,
Thanks for your post and welcome to the forum!
I think we all have a problem with our diaper odor at one time or another. Some people have a specific problem with having foul smelling urine.I think the trick is to change your diaper once its wet enough to change but not after 5 or 6 hours. Also cleaning yourself up is important too. That's just as important as changing often. There are some tablets you can take to help the urine smell stay in check.
As far as your question on what is AB/DL is, that stands for adult baby/diaper lover. There is a very large group out there that participant in this. We probably have a few who are in our membership, but they don't push their ideals or play games on this forum. Our board owner, Schoppy, wil kick them off if he reads anyone who is pushing this.
Hope I answered your questions and keep a positive attitude. There is a lot of supportive members that are here to help everyone. ....Paul Martin

Its important to drink plenty of water.
I know that drinking more water = more wetting but its real important to keep your system flushed out.
When the urine gets more concentrated from not drinking enough water, it can develope a strong smell.

Thanks but there's a reason the doctor suggested my back pocket. Drinking water is only going to fix half of my problem.

Please don't say that. Having to post here is bad enough, I don't find posting here a good thing

I don't like to take any sort of medicine

Bold wasn't working.

Ok, what paul meant was, since you have this problem, we welcome you here as a a way to find answers. True, none of us REALLY want to be here, because the fact we are here means we wet ourselves when we don't want to. So his welcome was not meant to be taken as something you want to have.. but rather, welcome for support for a difficult situation.

you asked what ab/dl is, and paul martin told you what it stood for. Allow me to explain further. Adult babies are people who derive satisfaction, sexual or otherwise from wearing diapers, and being treated as a baby, DL is more sexual on the diaper only. From what you said, you don't fall into either of those two categories, and your posts contain no hint of ab/dlism which is a good thing.

Annoyed,

Soci said it right what I meant in welcoming you to the forum. I think every body who post on this forum is annoyed with their condition.

This forum is here to support any body who has incontinence or is helping someone with incontinence. I understand your resentment of having to live with your incontinece, but don't let it get you down. Incontinence does not control my life. I control my incontinence.

If you need to blow off some steam, that's what this forum is here for too. All the members on this forum joined for a reason. They want to hear from other people just like themselves who have had to cope with some type of incontinence.

I hope your attitude won't let incontinence that control. If you have any type problem, let us hear it. You'll find someone on this forum who probably has dealt with the same thing. .............Paul Martin

Oh, okay.

So your saying I'm now the envy of a bunch of inbred perverts. Fantastic.

Isn't obvious I have an IQ above two.

Thanks for the help but my smell problem is still only half-way solved. If I don't get rid of it soon people are going to start to figure out what's causing it.

Hi Annoyed
Could you please fill in some blanks for me?? How did this all start? How did you end up in diapers? What is the condition you have or what is causing this condition you have. And your dad is driving you to school drunk  What is that about. Also could I ask how old you are.

1. Obviously, my dad's an alcholic. Normally he drinks at night a few times in the morning. The time I was talking about happened to be one of those few times. Normally, I can tell when he's drunk but at the time I didn't really notice he was drunk. (I was still a little tired and I'm used to seeing him drunk so I didn't think much about it.) So I let him drive me to school and, long story short, he had an accident, a really bad one. I don't really like to think about it much so I won't go into details. (plus I was unconcious and woke up in the hospital later to find out what happened and what damage it did to my body.) What I want to make perfectly clear is that I don't hate my dad, sure I was mad at him for a while but it was as much my fault as his and its not like this kind of thing happens often when he's drunk. (It was the first time he ever drove me anywhere while drunk) He just screwed up once (he figured we would be fine since we were so close to the school) and other than that one incident I get along fine with my dad.
I'm just so tired of people freaking out over it, not every alcholic is evil. My dad is a nice guy.
2. Because of the accident, I now wet and crap myself :/ so I have to wear diapers. I don't quite remember the technical term for it, I was kinda freaking out the first time my doctor told me and I didn't really pay attention the few other times he said it since the conversation was between him and someone else. (I don't like to talk to him much, he normally doesn't have happy things to say to me.)
3. From the accident.
4. 15
Does that clear things up for you.
