What kind of a diaper are you using?
A lot of the cheeper brands will do that.

Have you tried the Abena X-plus?
They are probably the best disposable diaper out there

I find this happens sometimes too if I have been wearing a diaper for a long period of time, even if it is not very wet - for example, if it's a rare occasion where I've wet less than usual so have had the diaper on longer than usual. Personally I notice it in the daytime more than at night. The way I avoid it is trying to get a good quality diaper, as Schoppy has said really - though a bit more expensive perhaps, it does make a noticeable difference. It's worth it because if the padding falls away it makes leaks more likely too, as well as the sagging. Using booster pads in the diaper also helps, I find - but if you do this make sure the inner pad does not have waterproof backing. I hope that helps.

I've had the same problem as probably everybody who has worn their diaper longer than usual. Most disposables depend on the gel crystals to absorb the wetness and once they have absorb all they can, they depend on the woven fabric in the diaper to hold them in place. Only your better made disposable diapers have enough material to hold the gel in place.

Any disposable, though, will eventually sag. Buy the better brands and just watch how often you change. Like Bernadette said, you should not see this much in your night time diaper, mainly during day use. .........Paul Martin
