Hey all. I have been in and out of the hospital for the last few months. Things are not good.

On a personal level, after over 2 years of being in a relationship my partner has left me. A couple of days ago I spent 10 excruciating hours in the ER and was admitted. I am still there. The following morning after being in the ER all night my partner texted me saying they don't want to he in a relationship with someone so sick. I have become a burden.

I am also too sick to travel to see my family for the holidays. So I will be completely alone.

It appears I have pneumonia this time around. In addition to pain and I have only peed twice in 4 days.

Just trying to do this a day at a time. But I am really struggling.

Your medical issues put my own health in perspective. I wish there were some way to comfort and assist you, other than this site, as useful as it is. But keep posting and we will support you as best we can.

Thanks Patrick.
To add insult to injury I found out today my bladder is dead. I hadnt peed in 2 days. It took them 4 times to get a foley in. They finally did and drained over a liter of urine. My bladder has finally given up. Ny urologist is coming tomorrow to discuss placing an SPC. I have no other choice.

I'm sorry to hear of your suffering! I don't know what a SPC is but from what you describe, the issues are serious. Best of luck with your future treatment. We'll be thinking and praying for you.
