Just shared this in a group I am in.....

When you decide you don't care who knows you paralyzed your bladder when you fell down that escalator in 2015. That fall ultimately resulted in the amputation of my right leg below the knee, a botched knee replacement on the left, a diagnosis of complex regional pain syndrome, and so much more. I live alone and am a wheelchair user. I have home health aides that help me. One of them is helping me get my apartment organised and clean. My partner gave me organizer cubes and my aide suggested I put my diapers and supplies in them to make them more accessible when I am home alone. I hesitated at first and then thought "screw it! Its not my fault I am incontinent. Why be ashamed?"

Good for you! It sure sounds like you have been through a lot! I'm so glad that things are otherwise working out for you.

All

I feel for anyone with Incontinence I have been this way since my teenage years nothing can be done so for 30+ years have been relying on diapers to manage it. These are the cards life has given me so just get on with it took me a while to reach acceptance but when it arrived was so liberating. Yes the constant changes, re-supply stress, enhanced hygiene, constant bladder diary recording etc. are a pain but the alternative is much worse. I have a range of different types of diapers, plastic pants, creams for different situations. Yes I have incontinence but incontinence does not have me and I have a normal as possible life.

Wishing everyone well as you all negotiate your way through the incontinence journey.

Add my congratulations and admiration of your management skill. My situation is somewhat different, but the end goal is to manage our medical situation and incontinence as skillfully as possible, then get on with life.
