I had to wait until I got my ssdi payment to place my monthly diaper order. I literally have less than a pack of MegaMax left and my shipment is delayed due to weather. Weather is fine here in dc but apparently Illinois got hit with snow. I’m not going anywhere until Tuesday and I only have some Northshore’s supreme lights and abena l4s that don’t fit left in my backstock. I ordered 3 cases this time so I should be covered but I don’t like cutting it this close!

Well my stuff didn’t come today. I ordered 2 packages of abena from Amazon (they were the only thing I could get same day) and they barely fit. But I’m making do. I’ve never let my backstock get so low. I need to find somewhere to donate the large supreme lights. Don’t think I’ll be fitting into those anytime soon.

I found myself in a similar situation with my regular daily pull-ups. I've been able to buy the TENA Ultimate Extra pull-ups on sale and in stock in the drug stores. But last week no one had mediums. My one online supplier had them apparently, but they charged full retail price + shipping. So I ordered TENA ProSkin Flex Brief in a panic, which should arrive on Monday. These should be wearable in place of my pull-ups due to the velcro fasteners on front for easy reliable toilet use. Soon after I placed the order, I did manage to find one package of my usual mediums in a store that I don't usually shop at.

It's worrisome when your favourite groceries are not stocked on the shelves. It's even more disturbing when your go to diapers are unobtainum.

So apparently the large supreme lights fit (barely). So I can use those. But I can’t go anywhere and am sitting on a chux pad cause these aren’t very absorbent. Hopefully my shipment comes tomorrow I have to go out on Wednesday

I’m totally replying to myself but my 3 cases are finally in Maryland and are supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Fingers crossed! And this is no way the fault of Northshore. First it’s mine for running out and apparently FedEx has so many packages they are delayed. The abenas and supreme lights and chux pads are tying me over.

You reported quite a saga. Although I read it with interest, I could not think of anything I could do to ease your situation. I was glad to read that your shipment should arrive soon.

Thanks Patrick. I just needed to vent…..I will say even though the abenas are a bit small they have really saved the day. They haven’t leaked at all which I was worried about with the small fit. Now I know if something happens again (I hope not) that I can same/next day some on Amazon
