Re: Daytime Brief Suggestions

My protection is the same, day or night, ConfiDry 24/7 diapers with a booster pad and pull-on plastic pants. The only difference is the size of the booster...large during the day and extra-large at night. This is an effective combination for me as I have been wearing 24/7 since 2006 and rarely have leakage.

I have not posted in ages but read others and so appreciate all helpful tips. -
Thank You
I have recently found that the Tranquility Slim Line large have been doing great for me during the day. Not quite enough for night but do amazingly well during the day. The Abena L4 work for me at night but too thick to wear during my normal day.
The only problem I have at night is leakage when sleeping on side. About the best I can seem to come up with although very bulky is the Abena L4 over that nighttime cloth diaper I get from Adult Cloth Diaper and even though their high back plastic pants are very good I seem to get the best value of BKINS Tuffy pants they last a long time and resist tearing. The
Cloth diaper is not always wet in morning so I don't have a large quantity of them.
As I reread this post I think I need to mention that prior to finding the Tranquility Slimline the Abena L3 or even 2 have done great. I had not considered the slimline because it is plastic backed and thought it may rustle, But unless I'm losing my hearing I honestly can not hear it. I think it is a little cheaper than the Abena 2 or 3.
Another thing I would like to mention, somehow I know this is crazy it seems "OK" to me wear pull-up underwear but anything with tapes is a "diaper". It sorta bothers me but I just do not do well with the pull up underwear. I have experimented with the higher quality ones like Seni and they are great but I guess I am not in the right place all the time and I find my pants wet in day even though the absorbancy is more than adequate.
Again I so appreciate all others helpful posts
Thank You
Tom T

I also avoided wearing Tranquility Slim Line (medium) for a time but am using them more often now. I now worry less about this sort of thing and found that in most situations that you can't hear it. The exception might be at a funeral or a church under the right conditions, especially on stairs.

When I stand, I wobble. I need to use a mirror to get the tapes on correctly. When I must change when I'm out and about, I often get one side or the other not centered properly, and must change when I get home.

I feel you Patrick. Only having one leg it’s difficult to change in public. When I’m in my wheelchair I have to balance on one leg and try to change. I also have bursitis in my knees so sometimes it’s painful

Bursitis in your knees? That must make changing, even when you're at home, difficult. You have my concern, respect, and empathy.
