I am also very glad the surgery went well for you. Hope you have a speedy recovery. Like Patrick and yourself I also had to be changed and cleaned up for nearly five weeks after my Pelvic reconstructive surgery. It is truly humbling. The nurses also were very professional about it all. Thanks for the update gives me hope for sure.

Glad you are recovering. Be patient - some things you just cannot rush.

I have been there with surgeries, including a pelvic reconstruction, and have learned when to just relax.

At first, it can be embarrassing until you learn to just let the nurses and aides do their jobs.

I now have reached the stage of acceptance where embarrassment no longer enters my mind. Of course, that took quite a while.
