Thanks very much RetiredRN. I will definitely call the agency if the person is rude or mean. Since I can barely move my apartment is a disaster. I'm hoping they can at least help get a couple things like my meds organized. The nurse called and she will be here between 11:45 and 12:45

Just a thought. The nurse should help you with your medications such as place them where you can get to them. He/she will also answer any questions about them. If your home is disorganized he/she should not say anything to you, he/she will just do his/her job.

RetiredRN, the initial assessment was ok. I explained my needs. I'll be getting an aid on Tuesday and Thursday and a nurse once a week for a month. I need more help than that but with insurance I'll take what I can get. And yes getting medications and things in order will help. The nurse will be here tomorrow around 2 to help me bathe. And I can't wait because I can hardly stand myself.

hey justej dont be alarmed if the nurse or aide sees you in bad pain and says to relax i will do it like changes and baths and such they will do that for me here and they dont mind it at all

Thanks mattwp. The nurse didn't change me today but she helped me take my diaper off and put a dry one on after I got cleaned up. I can't bend over or twist so it's hard to put a new one on. She was very professional and it wasn't bad. I'm just happy to be clean.

I'm back in the hospital for a couple of days because I have a spinal leak from my operation. The doctor said "the main way to treat the headaches from this is caffeine. We will give you iv medicine with caffeine and you will need to drink lots of coffee." I was like hell yea! It could be worse.

Mrsa was negative thank god. I'll be here at least tonight.
