These have to be the worst diapers I've ever had in regards to odor. They absolutely stink when wet. And it's not me I don't have this problem with others. Does anyone else have this problem with these? The capacity is great but I won't be buying them again.

I have the same problem with abenas. It was super embarrassing to wake up in the morning to the stench with my wife sleeping next to me. You’re fine for an hour, but after 3 hours watch out

Tarlton..I agree about the Abenas, although I've found I can go 4-6 hours in a wet one before they really start to smell. Nonetheless they are the worst for odor control of any of the diapers I use.

It's not even that long before they start to stink. I think it's the plastic they use but a combo of the plastic and urine is just gross. Its worse than an abena.

And I edited my post because I spelled odor wrong and it was driving me nuts. :D

If you go to abenia's website you will see why they can smell. They do not add odor control and a lot of other chemicals. You want odor control and dioxin (Dioxin... think Agent Orange) and a lot more? Is it worth the risk? Other than cloth diapers no adult diapers are totally free of all sorts of nasty things put into diapers. It is why, by law, diaper companies (Baby to Adult) are not required to divulge any process or chemicals added to disposable diapers. Makes you wonder why... I hope. Papa

One more thing... The more you drink, the less you stink. Papa

Okay... another thing. I am not pushing cloth diapers... I am pushing education and knowledge. Type, Chemicals in disposable diapers, into your search engine. Eye opener. Papa

Papa -
I would love to use cloth but I don't have my own washer and dryer. I pay per load to wash and dry. And I'm on a fixed income (disability) so it's hard for me to afford to do so much laundry. And the initial cost of buying them I just can't do it. It kills me to use so many disposables but I just don't have the resources to do otherwise. The rearz were a sample. I can't afford those anyway.

I agree that odor control can be problematic. I used a doubler from attends for some years, and got really allergic to them. When I wear them and they get wet, my skin burns. Terribly painful.
When I use a doubler now, I use one produced by tena. They are all right.
