I was reading another board
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1559&start=20 and I'm questioning about the effect of stress and anxiety on adult bedwetting.
My elderly mother-in-law has been living with us for 4 years. She can be a domineering and controlling person at times, so much so that it's like I've been married to 2 women my whole 21 yrs of marriage. She has Parkinson's Disease, limited mobility (uses walker, wheelchair), wakes us sometimes at 2 a.m. because she's cold, has a serious stubborn streak, you get the idea. On top of that I am working 2 jobs to pay for our daughter's (only child) college education. I get about 6-7 hrs of sleep a night.
I know stress is often a driver of child bedwetting which I never experienced. Now I don't wet often at all (very rare actually) but I'm wearing protection most nights cause I just think "what if". MOL is moving out to assisted living come May 1 or May 15th and I'm wondering if the wetting issues and fear of wetting will go away once she's out of the house? Maybe psychological issues are driving the problem more than prostate issues like I've been thinking up until now?
