dealing with heat...

so here in the great PNW "Seattle Area" its in the 90's and i am miserable it the sticky hot i know i shouldn't complain LOL with the rest of the world melting away. How is everyone coping with the heat i finding i am changing twice as often as the diapers are just feeling nasty i almost with i had a Foley today i feel it would feel better on my all-ready red butt LOL

I used to love summer time. Now thanks to wearing diapers I don't look forward to it. Like you, I hate the feeling of it sticking to my skin. Plus, I am more prone to rashes this time of year.

I know it's practically heresy in some circles to suggest a cloth-backed diaper but in the summer I just can't take a plastic back diaper. After just a few hours here in the Florida heat and humidity they really get itchy due to sweat trapped between my skin and the plastic wings. Abena and Northshore both have some pretty great cloth backed diapers and I can highly recommend them. In addition I am using a Leakmaster side-snap PUL pant during the day. The small openings between the snaps at the hips really help to provide a bit of air flow to keep things cool.

LOL mine are cloth backed diapers they are cheap LOL and start to clump up and disintegrate LOL the state gives me nothing but the best

Hmmm. The best that Walmart offers, right? I have been putting up with the Seattle weather as well, and I have been very happy in my Seni briefs. They are cloth backed and breathe much better than depends, while providing far better protection. Makes gardening much easier when the temp is in the 90s.

i get the feeling walmart diapers are are better then what medical supply will give me ;) i had to beg to get tena form the DME... I remind them how much referral business i give them for free at this point i should be a sale consultant
