Anyone ever use these?

I got a 15 pack the other day to try them out. They're available on comfycare.net which mostly sells abdl crap but has these plain white diapers. Curiosity got the better of me too and I got a 4 pack sample of Crinklz just for a laugh and to play a joke on my wife. The BetterDry and Crinklz are 100% identical other than print. I won't be ordering more crinklz as that's not my thing, but the plain white diapers are likely going to hit my rotation.

At the 60ct case price, they're comparable to the cost of Abena level 4 at 1.65 ea. At lower quantities the prices are asinine but I wanted to give them a try.

Anyway, these things are pretty impressive. They're quite bulky, similar to an Abena L4 but are just absolutely stuffed with SAP. Most of the SAP is up front and in the crotch, the majority of the back pad appears to be mostly pulp with very low SAP content. They're drastic overkill for my daytime needs but I'm going to consider switching to them for my overnight use or at least mixing them into the rotation. I need to run through all 15 of them before I will be confident to commit to a $99 60 count case.

I've worn them to bed the last 2 nights and had no leaks. I wasted one diaper as the plastic backing tore open where I attached one of the tapes from pulling to hard. I only had that problem on 1/3 diapers tried so I'm hoping it's not going to be a regular issue. The plastic backing is a bit thin and has some elasticity to it making it easier to tear from pulling than the plastic on an Abena. While this makes it softer and more comfortable (marginally) it may be a design flaw

I would consider myself to on the extreme end of bedwetting. I have simply 0 night time control and wet very heavily. Because I sleep on my back or sometimes stomach, the Abena L4s hold up 99% of the time for me. The only time I have leaks is if I do randomly side sleep one night. With these BetterDry diapers, I think I could fully side sleep and not leak. The huge SAP content makes them swell up so much and kind of "envelop" your male anatomy. Liquid is more or less instantly sucked into the SAP with no chance or escape. They're quite confidence inspiring.

The downside to the huge SAP content that I'm wondering about is that the intense swelling of the diaper can actually make it difficult to urinate. I actaully woke up last night feeling the need to pee (which hasn't happened in ages as I always just we while sleeping). I realized when I woke up that I actually was already in the process of urinating, mid stream, but the swelling and increased tightness of the diaper was creating "back pressure" and making it hard to go.

I'm going to see if this is just something that I need to adjust to or maybe if the solution is just to tape them on a bit looser.

Anyway thought I'd share as I'd have to say these are probably the most intensely absorbent and confidence inspiring diapers I've ever come across. They may be too bulky for most people for daytime use, but if you have very severe incontinence and discretion is not a primary concern, these may be worth looking into. Definitely worth a look for you other bedwetters, but again, not cost effective unless you go with the 60 count case.

I guess the betterdry was just added. It wasn't available when I last ordered their crinklz a month ago.

I am a side sleeper, and they have not leaked on me once. The huge sap content and incredibly high leak guards have been awesome. I haven't minded the diaper swelling at all, and I don't believe it's made peeing my diaper any more difficult. Although, I always wake up and have a hard time peeing anyways.

I do love the crinklz print myself. However, a case of betterdry for $100, versus a case of crinklz for $150, is a huge cost increase for just the prints. If they truly are the same functionally, I'll probably be switching to the betterdry.

$50 just for print is crazy. Glad I'm not abdl so I don't have to deal with being gouged like that.

Not even sure I'll use the Crinklz as I got them pretty much as a joke. Tried one on but just felt weird wearing it.

I hate to waste them, as they're perfectly good diapers, but it's just off-putting and awkward to me to see myself in something like that.

Yeah, but from a functional standpoint they are supposed to be exactly the same though, right. Any akwadness you'd feel in usng them would all be in your head.

yes true. thought it would be funny when i ordered them but didn't realize how uncomfortable they'd make me feel.

Personally I haven't, I know my friend JDinVirginia looked into them more than I did. So maybe he can be of assistance. Not sure if he ever got them or wore them but I'll let him speak for himself.

I picked up a couple of bags to try them out last month when Healthwick first got them in, and i agree the sap expands a lot and can make it dificult to pee. I liked the diaper but unfortunately I must be alertic to somthing in the plastic they use as I get a rash when I wear one.

Its disappointing as I thought I may have found and alternative to the Confidry 24/7 and the forsite AM/PM diapers I currently use.

Alas, I have not tested BetterDry and so I too eagerly await the feedback from those who have.

However, I will note that Crinklz in size Large has an ISO rating of 5,128 ml, which is a LOT. BetterDry in Size Large also has an ISO rating of 5,128 ml. In absorbency the two diapers are identical.

I wanted to test one during daytime use so I work one (bettery dry not crinklz) saturday. I was able to make it leak. I drank a lot more coffee and water saturday than I normally do and wet it very badly multiple times. But I was dertmined to find it's breaking point. After running my errands I was on my deck smoking a cigar and had another urge incon episode and it finally leaked. 4 flood wettings. Granted my floods are probably only 10-12 oz as that is about where my OAB makes my bladder go insane. People with massive 20 oz bladder capacities would likely only get 2 wetting out of them. I purposely jacked up my fluid intake to test these. Under my normal daily fluid intake, I bet I could wear one to work all day and not have to change. Unfortunately for me, they're not discreet enough and I'm not comfortable wearing such an obvious diaper at work. Instead I change 2-3 Northshore Supreme Lites at work.

This is at least one full wetting (for me) more than I'll get out of an Abena L4 unless I'm laying on my back sleeping as in that case I get use of the whole pad. Sleeping in a better dry makes me feel like I'm 100% not going to leak a drop even if side sleeping. I think they're just amazing.

I love BetterDry - they have been my go-to night diaper for about a year. It sucks that they are so expensive in the US; almost twice what I pay in the UK.
