Hey guys,
To deal with both my bladder and bowel accidents I use abena m4's to get through the day and night. They aren't exactly my waist size but somehow they fit, but usually at night it won't stand up to how much I wet it and with the bowel accident at night it's not that pleasent to change when it's a little soaked from wettings.
Even during the day I have about 4-5 bowel accidents and I change immediately after one only and by that time it's a little heavy of wettings as well, I was told that the medium confidry24/7 would be too large so I'm thinking of going for a small confidry24/7, I was wondering if it can perform as well as or better than the m4

Mia,

Yes. The ConfiDry 24/7 will perform as well or better than the Abena, provided, of course, that it fits your personal shape well. The Dry 24/7 actually has a greater absorbency then the Abena. :D

The ConfiDry 24/7 is my primary diaper. It has front and back elastics and I have found it to have excellent fecal containment and odor control as well as overall absorbency. I have experienced no clumping or separation with the 24/7. The only negative might be the lack of a wetness indicator, but that mostly is for the use of a caregiver, rather than the wearer.

Good luck!

Are the abena m4s a little too big, or too small? The confidrys do run a little bigger than abena. If the abena mediums are a little big, then the confidrys will definitely be big for you.

Small or medium, the confidrys will be more absorbent than abena. I wear larges, and they are my primary diaper.

The abena is a tiny bit big for me, but it still fits okay and performs okay..... I'm thinking of going for the small confidry24/7,

Count me in for another supporter of the confidry. I use it with an Abena abri-let booster pad. It's pretty heavy protection but I wet a lot. My medicine makes me really thirsty. So it's gotta go somewhere. The 24/7 does a good job. It is also good for bowel incontinence. Never had a leak. It is a bit bulky though. In Florida, I wear a lot of lightweight board shorts and T's. My wife said you can somewhat tell. I do wear Gary PUL covers. Gives it some support and prevents it from sagging. But with that combo I can go 6-8hrs between changes and gives me the freedom to not carry a backpack with me everywhere I go. No other diaper has given me this. So if people can tell, function over form. I just manage as best I can and in the Florida summer, it's too hot to wear bulky jeans all the time to conceal what may show. I'm kinda past the point of caring.

Definitely go with the small. It will fit you better and you won't look back
