Hey all,

Just thought id give you all a heads up. Many of us here are fans of XP Medical, myself included. They are my sole source of extended wear diapers. The site has gotten a face lift, with new features like setting up an account which saves you credit card info and address so you dont have to enter it in every time you make an order. They also offer Tranquility now. On the down side, they no longer offer Tena Stretch Super, or it seeems the A+ level 3. However, Tranquility should serve as an adequate subsitute since the two are comporable interms of absorbency. So no real loss there,. But one thing that is odd and somewhat concerning is they seemed to have removed the choice of sample packs of products. I was looking at trying Trranquility ATN as a possible replacement for my Abena.. trying to save money by getting more diapers per case.. and I'm not sure i necessarily need the whole absorbency that X-plus offers, especially since now ive started cathing.. which has probably cut down on the amount of wetting episodes, but has by no means reduced it. Make no mistake, diapers for me are still a necessity, but hopefully with this Interstim and/or mens liberty, they wont be fore much longer. Anotehr possiblilty im considering is ConfiDry. The full case is 110, which is more expensive but would last much longer as well.

Peace out!

Rob

pretty bummed about the changes. no more west coast warehouse. everything I think is coming out of Arkansas now.
they had the Id_slip Maxi at a decent price which was a nice other source for what basically is the Northshore Air Supreme
really hate only have one source for an acceptable item.

Another forum indicated that Gary has sold XP Medical. Does anyone have any information about that? Rumor or true?

I find that hard to believe, because XP Medical was his baby. However, it might be true, since the phone message now says something their hours and says central time instead of Pacific time. The ironinc thing is, it says on the website products selected by users for users. Unless the person he sold to is incontinent (which is possible), that slogan would not apply! I just hope they maintain the level of customer service they have.. If not, i wont have a reliable source for my extende wear diapers.

Peace out!

Rob

Rob for tranquility diapers, try shopping around some especially on amazon. The prices there are much lower and better than on xpmedical. But customer service is great overall either way.

I don't like the new website. No more sample packs that I can find. I was going to order a sample of Absorbancy Plus but I don't see the option anywhere.

Some of XP's prices have increased. For example, the Abena Delta Form's price has increased 11% since the new website was launched. It used to be $79.95 for 80. Now it's $88.95 for 80. That is a non-trivial increase, especially considering that many suppliers sell the same item for $79.95.

I spoke to Nicholas from XP Medical, and i am happy to report that Gary did not sell XP medical, theyve acquired a partner. They disconitnued
the absorbency plus level 3 because sales were not as good on that level as on the level 4. The samples are not available because they are moving things around on the warehouse, but hopefully will be back soon. They got a lot of requests for Tranquility, so they are now carrying it.

Peace out!

I have great respect for XP Medical, and I wish them the best success with their business. Because of the substantial price increase on the diaper on which I rely, I have concluded that I will need to seek an alternative supplier.

Noe, im curious, do you use Abena Delta Form? Or was that an example? Reason I ask is I found Delta form to not be as comfortable or lasting as long as the X-Plus, and tends to clump after a few hours. Just wodnering if you had the same expereince.
