What positions do you tend to have more leakage and accidents in? And what positions are you generally less likely to leak or have accidents in?

Walking and standing I tend to get the odd urges and accidents more frequently. Oddly I have not had that many urges while laying down. Had a few accidents while sitting at work though.

I am wondering if my weight may be contributing to the leakage...

I definitely have more leakage while standing up, I'll leak a little while sitting down, but my urgency is much worse while standing up.

My urge incontinence can lead to loss of control under almost any conceivable circumstance. However, I agree that standing up after sitting or lying down for an extended period is the most common circumstance that causes me to wet myself. Another very reliable trigger is getting my hands wet for any reason.

That's quite common. When you stand up, the blood pressure in your legs increases quite a bit. This increases the blood flow from your legs, and your kidneys, which causes them to filter out more urine. Your bladder gets that small surge of pee, and you can then get that sudden emptying as a trigger from it.

Most "normal" bladders won't send that urgency signal from getting so little pee dumped into it, but with urge incontinence this happens most every time.

Fumbling with my keys when I get back to my apartment from any errands, reaching to open the door to a public restroom, post micturition dribble that's more like a small flood, going from lying on my back to my side. I'm pretty sure my weight doesn't help, but I started having problems before gaining weight.

Yeah, me, too - all of it. Seeing/hearing/touching running water, walking to my front door, standing up. As to the standing up, I've always thought it's the weight of the urine pulling my bladder down onto a weak pelvic floor. My urge wettings happen whether I'm sitting, standing or lying down, and sometimes I don't have an urge before an involuntary void.

I join the choir when it comes to standing up after sitting, and the trigger of running water.
I also often lose control when I am upset. Strong emotions, like grief, fear or pain.
Especially if I feel vulnerable. Mu psychologist saus it is an infantile reaction.
