Re: how do you carry your diapers?

I keep them in a rucksack with different compartments like yourself. I keep each individual change in small black plastic bags, which are ideal for disposing of used nappies. Wipes, powder and cream are bagged up too in the same compartment. Works well for me :)

porkchop: the messenger bag is an ortlieb. it converts into a paneer for my bike but since i havent ridden my bike in over a year (and dont know when ill be able to again) ive never used it like that. i want to ride my bike again but with diapers i dont know how im going to.
the bag i used tonight is an embark backpack that someone gave me. i think you can get them at target. i like it because its got my favorite patch and my buttons on it. the messenger one is waterproof though, so its good when the weather is unexpected.

I have a backpack in the trunk of my car, I say that is my emergency kit - wife usually asks when we are going on trips, if I have remembered to check that I have refilled my backpack with spare diapers so I can change if needed.

Then I have a rather large bag for my laptop which have an extra room in which I keep a spare diaper for just in case scenarios.

And another backpack hanging at a discreet toilet room, with a keylock on it to prevent unauthorized access. That is the emergency back if I need to change at work.

I figured having the three options would give me peace in mind.

Well I started with a nice messenger bag which just didn't cut it so I looked at my bug out bag, which i thought was a bit too tactical. I settled on a Leaper Large Canvas bag, sometimes use by photographers. It has two compartments, separated by a hook and loop secured panel, which you fold back. I personally leave it down and keep a variety of IC and ileostomy supplies, good for a couple of days, in the bottom. The top section I use for other stuff including my tablet, paperwork, a water bottle or thermos of coffee. The side pockets work well for smaller items such as a compact first aid kit, cords, or lotions. All in all it is working out very well so far.

@RoadPirate, can you please link to where you got it? Sounds promising and I'm looking for my perfect solution.

When i was in college, i used a backpack with 2 zippered compartments. Now i use a statchel. I actually brought 2 statchels with me when subbing.. one had my school stuff in it/lunch, the otehr had my diapers and wipes in it. Now ill figure out how to put my catheters in there as well.. I think ill take wheels up on what he showed me.

peace out!

When out hunting I've used a fanny pack. Kind of tacky I know, but it is just large enough to carry in/out one diaper (plus some extra ammo).
