Well, my occasional bowel issues struck again.. all of a sudden had a urgency to have a bowel movement, and got up there only to have myself squeeze and push, and before i could get the diaper off.. a deuce dropped in the diaper  ..Luckily it wasnt the entire bowel movement  I think it might be due to consipation, as the last time this happeend i think i was constipated.. so.. in goes a suppository and down goes the mirialax. I will mention this to my GP as well..

Peace out!

Rob

You might consider taking a stool softener (ducosate sodium) with each low-residue meal. Good luck.

That sucks. I had an incident a while back when I was having GI virus problems. I know how you're feeling there.

Right with you Rob, last month I ended up eating some raw hamburger in a dark restaurant and had diarrhea for almost a week. about two weeks later ate some Mexican food and before I got home, I couldn't hold it anymore. Now onto last night, ate at a China buffet and once again on the way home a felt the urge, but it went away. I get home headed to the bathroom and lets just say I had to take a shower afterwards. I don't like that I have had incidents like this so close together and wondering if I should say something to my doctor about it. I can explain the diarrhea incidents from the hamburger, but not the others.

batman, I'd definitely see the doc. 'geek, I seem to remember that you experience that every so often, but I think it's wise to at least tell your doctor about it.

Batman, do tell your doctor. Don't make the same mistake that I made. I stupidly was too embarrassed to discuss my bowel incontinence with my doctor for years! :( Of course, that was before I had any understanding of what was causing my problems and before I found supportive groups like this one.
