Well, I am out of the premium disposables until my case of Abena ships from XP medical, which should be sometime tomorrow if they hold to their previous patterns. I usually get an email at midnight telling me my order is shipped and its here the next day :) In the meantime, i have attends 8, and cloth, both pocket and traditional pin on. Attends has been all but useless, every other diaper i try to put on the tabs rip off.. I finally had enough and put on a pocket diaper.. So im biding my time before i get enough cloth to do away with attends 8 or get something better from J and B medical.. Word to the wise, dont use attends 8 aka attends poly briefs if you can avoid it. The cheap plastic doesnt make it worth it.

Peace out!

Rob

Oh man. It's bad when your backup supply is failing, but why was your backup supply attends to begin with?

With this next order you get, set aside one full bag and put a big do not use note on it. Count it out of your usable supplies like you did with the attends and reorder more when the rest of your stock gets low like you normally would. Only every now and again swap that bag out with a new bag so it doesn't sit for too long.

The few number of times in the past two decades this helped me have all been life savers.

Brian,

I use attends 8 when im at home because they are provided free of charge by insurance. I used to get attends breathable, but now I don't. Attends went and ruined a perfectly good product when they changed the breathabe brief to attends derma dry. Absorbency is fine, but fit and comfort are terrible. Fortunately, they do have attends classic which are the breathable but my insurance doesnt cover those. I used to buy tena ultra out of pocket for my out of the house diaper along with Abena, but then I realized why not just use Abena for both.

So, to answer your question.. i am using them because they are free and I am currently jobless.. I just wish the tabs dindnt rip off.

Ah, yeah that makes sense. Free and in a pinch I'd probably use them too if I didn't have anything else.

Can't you get atn diapers to be covered by your insurance? Even those are quite a bit better.

Hopefully you find a better diaper solution going forward! :)
