Hi guys been a little while since I posted due to being very busy with lots of things. Basically over the past year or so sometimes when I wake up in the night or in the morning I get horrid pain in my kidneys, feels a bit like a stabbing pain. As I am little to no control as to when I pass urine I can only assume at the moment this has something to do that. I find it very odd as sometimes I wet my diaper at night, but when I don't I wake up with this pain. It usually subsides after I get up and walk around for about 10-15 mins. I think it's some kind of urine retention but I don't get it all time, and as I cannot control when I pass urine I find it very annoying. I am off to see my continence advisor next week but until then i wondered if anyone else gets a similar problem? Regards cycling_guy

The usual culprits are kidney stones or an infection. Both cases need to be looked at asap.

I also agree that if you have problems with your kidneys, they need to be checked out as soon as possible.
