The convenience of summer clothing

Mon Jul 25, 2016 4:37 pm

Summer makes incontinence easier and more difficult.
The difficult side is being on the beach, not able to wear a bikini or swimsuit.
The easy side is that changing pullups is manageable.
In winter, pullups can be a nightmare. Especially when wearing three layers of clothes,
and big boots.
I love the easy side of summer.

Sandals are my guilty pleasure of summer time. Too bad I can't wear them to work. I wear a swimsuit to the beach (UI only) and step into the surf as soon as I get there. Then I can go sit on the sand, and nobody ever notices extra wetness.

i cant wear sandals anymore with my legs (not enough ankle support) and it makes me so sad. im a sandal wearer too.
summer clothes, ive found, are great for incontinence. shorts fit me better than pants. and im a total tshirt wearer.
i have not found my incontinence gets better in the summer. in fact with all the water i drink i think its a bit worse. but im totally all about summer wear. :)

I don't really notice any difference between the seasons,.. I'm a jeans and t-shirt sort of guy. Even in shorts, changing is the same hassle but at least winter bulk conceals and I'm not sweating my tush off! Bring on the winter! :)

I found the only thing that is rather inconvenient about the summer and continence or diapers is the heat.
The heat at times will make the diaper are- and groin like get kinda chafed and uncomfortable. AC is much needed. lol

Shorts definitely feel more comfortable. And as for the beach- yeah soak as soon as possible and its fine.
I would oft lounge around at home in just a diaper and a T-shirt in summer.
Also- PUL plastic pants are far better than the regular like vinyl pants when needed.
