so the ones im looking at go from 40-48 for the large and 50-58 for the XL
im usually a 44-46 but was wondering if i should account for the diaper in with the waist size.
i had a a large in the ones that i aleady had and they seemed to fit, but they now have 2 holes in them after wearing them only a few times. pretty bummed about that because i only had that one pair and i was going to use them until i got new ones.
i need to do something to hold the diaper in place and when it comes to underwear i used to wear boxers so that doesnt help with what i can do until the new ones come. and i have no money to be buying underwear or compression pants.

suggestions please!

I wear suspenders and clip my pants and diaper together. My pants and diaper stay in place and I get a good fit for as long as I need.

That is a great question, even when I get the right waist size it feels like I'm wearing a balloon!! :(

That is completely normal. Diapers are not supposed to be tight fitting like underwear, and any diaper cover is supposed to be loose over that. Yes, a diaper cover absolutely needs to be about one size larger than your diaper so it can fit over your waist- plus the diaper which adds to your waist (cloth being much more of a size increase of course), plus it needs enough room to do its job even while allowing for the added space a swollen and wet diaper takes up.

Yes, a sagging diaper will feel loose. Yes, any properly sized diaper cover will NOT help hold up that diaper in the least. If you need extra support for your diapers then you need to look at other options other than the diaper cover. A pair of cheap briefs could go a long way, or diaper suspenders, or a onesie if/when you can get the money to buy them. What I've found the most effective though is just a pair of medium fitting pants or jeans. Not too loose, but baggy enough to hide the dipaer and just tight enough to help hold up the diaper even when it's soaked. Combine that with a belt and it's worked good for me at least.

Very well said, Brian.

Also, properly fitting plastic pants must provide some slack to contain any leaks and keep them away from the leg gathers - even after the diaper has swollen from use.

well i got them in the mail and the were definitely not wht i expected
no plastic at all and i dont know how they can consider them waterproof.
compression, yes, waterproof no
and on the package it says 38-44 and on the website it said 42-48. uhh, no.
they are a bit snug but i think they will work for the time being.
anyone know of any plastic pants that are actually waterproof and dont cost an arm and a leg?
im not even sure if these would work with a confidry and my dad ordred seven.
i get paid tomorrow so i can order some but they need to be actual plastic pants with well....plastic.
