I was sleeping on my stomach and woke up to a puddle. NOT how I wanted to start my day...I guess I cant sleep on my stomach, side, or anything else that is comfortable. Damnit

I sleep on my stomach. I shift the diaper forward when I put it on, and I fold in the front of the diaper, to create a pocket.

It's very rate that I leak.

This is the second time its happened to me. First was with a confidry. This time it was a much bigger mess though

Compression/stretch and plastic pants do the trick for me no leaks and a dry bed

ill go for the compression shorts/plastic pants combo when i am able to get some.
unfortunately my medical supplier cannot get abenas and im stuck with tranquility.

I feel your frustrations. A confidry diaper isn't quite enough to handle my side sleeping without leaking. I know an ATN certainly won't be able to either, side or stomach.

I've mentioned before that I also use a baby diaper booser. I cup it over me before diapering up (bycthe way, I am well endowed an have to always point up). By cupping the booster over me this creates a sort of dam to slow down and redirect my pee to the center of my diaper. This has worked great for me and I have not had a single leak in months in spite of being well hydrated all the time. You may want to try this as well if the compression pants don't work out.

Thanks Brian Ill try that if I still continue to have problems. My insurance is covering plastic pants so that should help. My doctor is supposed to sign the script today and the person who handles the prescriptions said they dont require a prior authorization. So I should have them soon.

I hate my insurance company. Now they are saying they are NOT covering plastic pants and the person who has helped me with all of my supplies at my doctors office had her last day on friday.


im trying to stay positive. ive got enough diapers and am even getting my monthly supply on monday. ive got food in my fridge and my cat has what she needs. this will get worked out, it always does. my parents may help me buy some plastic pants since i found some of the spartans for 7 bucks each. my dad is gonna call me tonight. i just hate this "yeah we will cover them. nope. hahaha. just kiding. we wont" thing with my insurance company. its frustrating.

First side sleeping and sleeping on your stomach is always going to be a challenge. Before the Foley I used the booster to control the flow when I slept on my side. I never could sleep on my stomach do to my condition. If there is something you need and the insurance doesn't want to cover it, my doctors write a letter to them and in a few days you will get a response from them. You will get better results when it is recommended from the medical staff. ATN while hold if you use boosters and extra tape for side sleeping.
