Yeah sorry about that. For what it's worth, I've been told this happens to people who are already set up to naturally have that testosterone drop later in life. Somehow the meds just trigger that natural drop off, but don't actually cause it per say. Not sure exactly how true that is though.

Can't the prescribe a certain little pill for the sex drive issues?

From what I've been told (by several different doctors) is that viagra doesn't actually increase your sex drive, it only helps to maintain an erection. Plus, I have high blood pressure that is very difficult to even keep below 140/90. Taking viagra will re-increase my blood pressure which I should avoid.

Don't be. Having low testosterone is something that naturally happens to most all of us (mine was just triggered early). Like I mentioned before, it actually has a few benefits to it. At least once you get past only having sex once or twice a month any ways.

What do you take for the blood pressure Brian?

Currently on exforge, carvedilol, and hydroclorothezide (which I probably spelled wrong). Previously tried other combinations of lisonopril, amolodipine, diovan, propanolol, coreg, and a few others I can't think of right now. My current cocktail has me hovering right around 135/85 though (which is a first), so my doc and I are considering that a win.

Brian, I'm happy to know that you and your doc have arrived at a formula that works.
