I will be going to Budapest, Vienna and Prague this Monday, and am only allowed one suitcase. As you can imagine, my diapers fill up a good portion of the suitcase, even putting some in my carryon backpack. Does anyone know of a place in Budapest, Vienna, or Prague where I can buy diapers? I would love to be able to take less than I need and replenish my supply while in Europe.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Well, I notice that a few years ago you wrote you intended
to travel to China and had the same questions then. Did
you actually make that trip?

Could a trip to Europe be any more difficult?

What did you find in China? Seems you should be telling us
rather than asking.

John.

Hey Essgee,
Good to hear from! Can you not pay an additional fee for a checked bag and carry your extra diapers? I'm planning a trip to Alaska in 30 days and I'll have to pay the extra $25.00 to check in a second bag. I would not trust trying to find quality disposable diapers over there.
You have the option to ship, maybe UPS, over there, but that could be pricey! Most airlines will allow the extra bag for a nominal fee. Is there something else that prevents a second bag? ......Paul Martin

John, I did make the trip to China, but luckily brought enough diapers for the entire trip. Never did find any to buy while there. I've learned to travel very light and use the space vacated by diapers for gifts, souviners, etc...

A couple of solutions to your problem.
Have an order of diapers shipped from the supplier to your hotels, call the hotel ahead of time and let them know about the shipment. Most places will have no problem doing this for you.
If you have to bring them with you call your airline ahead of time let them know of your medical situation, and let them come up with the solution. Most airlines will not have a problem with the extra bag,(A Bag). Worst case you may have to pay a little extra fee.
Be sure to pack and take at least four cloth diapers and two pairs of plastic pants IN YOUR CARRY ON! for back up in case of lost luggage, or delay of delivery. You definetly dont want to be left stranded with wet pants. All hotels
and cruise ships have laundry services.
Worst case you can use a towel and plastic pants for emergency situations. I had to do this once while I was waiting for my diapers to go through the laundry, (the Raddison was very good at doing them for me quickly and quietly at no charge).
I hope this has helped.
Have fun and enjoy your trip.
