Yup, those are the kendall wings all right. Like you, I too learned you absolutely must bring your own diapers with you. At least one if you're having an outpatient surgery, but at least 3-4 for every day you intend to stay as an inpatient.

Thanks for your report. Being forced to use hospital diapers after surgery must be a lesson painfully learned. I was glad to read that your surgery went off without a hitch (excepting those hospital diapers).
