All,

I was invited into a group for Veterans on FB from one of my shipmates I had served with. The group's name is Veteran 2 Veteran Info. It is ran by a Yvonne Maria Brooks. Below is taken from a post explaining what and why she is running this page. I have learned some valuable information from her posts and would like to share with other veterans on here about the page. I know it has very little to do with incontinence, but it might help you navigate the VA a little better.

Here is the link. https://www.facebook.com/groups/626936820727015/

"This groups purpose is to pass on vital information that is relative to other veterans.

Before you ask a question please use the search this group bar located directly beneath the group picture. Most answers to questions can be found by using this search tool.

My job is to help give you the information you need, so you can be taken care of when you come home! The Military Trains us to go to war! No one trains us to come home!

I am a 100 Percent Disabled Veteran that retired with 20 years of military service! I am also an Accredited Veteran Representative. I decided to become a representative because I know first hand, how frustrating it is to work with the VA System. So I took the time to study for months and understand the regulations and process of the VA System! After many months of studying, I took the test at VA, passed with flying colors, and received my accreditation! I don't charge my fellow veterans for any assistance that I give.

I don't do this for me, I do this for us! The military trains us to go to war, but no one trains us to come home! I created a FB page called Veteran 2 Veteran Info, and I post vital information for veterans on a daily basis! Information is only powerful, if you give it away!

Group Rules: Please no profanity, or Political Postings on this page! Please do not post solicitations, or advertisements.

Knowledge only has Power when you share it with others.Invite your fellow friends and family members to our family, so they can have the KNOWLEDGE and POWER, to get the benefits that they deserve!

We have to take care of each other, if we don't who will?

Please join my page, and when you find new information, share it with your fellow veteran. Each One teach One!"

Is VA is Lying there is a lot of vet that go there and able to get help solve the issues they have with the system they also have a pinned post with most of all the emails for top people at the VA also very helpful vets. I also find it a great place to vent or share common issues if you ever have an issue you can quickly find your not alone and sometimes get help with what ever the issue is.
