Mentally and physically?

UPDATE:
The pharmacist called me last week because she hadn't heard from me regarding the Attends sample she gave me. I was waiting to try them over the weekend, where things can be more controlled, but she wanted to know how things were working. So I got off my ass and tried the new diapers, which predictably sucked. I called her on Monday (2/1/16) and got no answer, so I stopped by on Tuesday (2/2/16) and spoke to the on call pharmacist. They told me that the purchasing agent and head pharmacist were out sick, but they would be in touch with me. Today (2/3/16) the pharmacist and purchasing agent called and told me they were in the process of approving XP Medical as a supplier in their system and that they would check up with me on Friday (2/5/16) about the status. In the mean time they are sending me some Wellness Diapers, I think that is the name but she said they're the ones advertising as the NASA diaper. I am excited to finally have this issues resolved! Thought I would share with everyone!

Given my other experiences at the VA, I was totally surprised at her compassion and dedication to her customers.

Sorry to say but wellness has absolutely nothing to do with the nasa diapers. It's nothing more than a marketing ploy, and they suck just as much as attends (worse than even atn or tena, and even they are no good in my opinion). They do have a new wellness supreme diaper now which is a little better, but still only on par with xpmedical's a-plus, or a tena super diaper.
Just hang in there till you can get the confidry. They are in a whole different league.

Oh, and that is GREAT news. If the VA will add xpmedical as a supplier then I will definitively go back to them and try for a prescription supply from them again!
Please keep us posted if/when that happens.

@Brian: The VA can already order from XP Medical, it is the individual hospitals that have to add it to their systems. And I tried the Wellness briefs and the shell tended to split down the middle so unless they've improved I'll say no thanks.

Guys,
Please forget the old Wellness diaper and its shortcomings.

The new diaper was completely redesigned.
In the past I have posted extensively reviews of this diaper in this group. The Wellness Superio Signature has high absorbency (87 oz), excellent fecal containment, tape landing zone, etc. The internal standing leak guards may be the best in the industry. As I am bowel incontinent, that is important for me. It is an excellent value for its price.

JD,
I am willing to give them a try but for me another factor I have to consider is the ease of self administering. That said, I am still waiting as the pharmacist who is working with me caught the flu. Hope to hear back from her tomorrow though. After that, who knows....
