Deciding to wear taped diapers 24/7 is not giving up or an extreme option for a lot of us who suffer from blader issues. It's hard some times to accept the fact we need protection to deal with leaks or extreme bathroom break requirements.

Once you come to terms and accept the fact that you need to wear premium taped diapers and start to wear you will find they take way a lot of the stress away that comes with unexpected floods or leaks.

Get some good premium diapers like dry 24/7's or abena level 4 diapers to try out for sizeing once you find the right fit buy a bag and try wearing for a few days to see if they help you deal with your Bladder issue.
As for telling your doctor your are wearing to manage your bladder issue is no big deal they see people almost on a daily bases that require them. If you haven't seen an urologist yet get your Dr. to refer you to one once the do some tests they may be able to suggest a testament that will eliminate the need for diapers. But until then wear protection to deal with the issue and keep your pants dry only you can decide what's best for you we can only let you know what is working best for us.

Please do not let pride or the fear of what people with think about you needing diapers prevent you from trying a workable blader management option of diapers until you find a better solution with your urologists help.

Seen a urologist several times and have spoken with my primary and while there are things they could do insurance will not pay for it and some is drastic. I already have a prescription for pads and while it's a hard reality for me to expect I may just be better off just using them. At least then I could get what little quality of life I have back and get away from the constant worry of wet pants and my life being ruled by needing a rr near.

Hey, I became urge incontinent at age 18. I fought it for almost two decades! In the end, you know what I chose? Diapers, Confidry 24/7 to be exact. The biggest problem for me was overcoming my fears of social stigma, being found out, etc. Once I overcame that fear the rest became an obvious decision for me.

It is hard, but getting to the point where you accept the reality of your status quo isn't the same thing as giving up. Giving up would be to live in your bathroom and never leave to avoid any unfortunate issues. Instead, you're fighting for a solution! Fighting isn't quitting!!!

Had a major accident while leaving the store this past Sunday.. Was the final straw am now 24/7 and have setup monthly delivery. No more wet pants, and no more living in the rr for me.. Has already relieved a lot of stress..

I am in my 30's and suffer from urge issues too and felt the same as you, I took the plunge to wear diapers 24/7 rather than pump my body with medication and suffer the side effects. I am so glad I did as far as cost I made the choice to find diapers that suited me not what others said. The freedom I have now is worth the sacrifices of those costly items in life that I have given up and do not miss as found free alternitaves. It took a long while to accept wearing diapers with all the stigma associated however looking back I now wish that I made this decision years ago I am a lot happier person now.

I have OAB and interstitial cystitis. I deal with urinary frequency in the 25+ times a day range now. I'm coming up on 2 years with this. I've been 24/7 since that time. Shortly into my issues I had to have a Foley catheter inserted as my issues became so severe. Now I am a regular Foley catheter user with a prescription and wearing some sort of protection 24/7 depending on the day. I understand your issues.

The less stress part is great news, though I am sorry for your accidental discharge..... (that's a military pun ) I hope that your new decision brings you some sort of mental comfort.
