Well, I made it through the lithotripsy with no major issues. Now comes the not so fun part.. passing and collecting the stones. My urine is dark, which i expected.. and theres moderate pain, and i took my first painkillers. I learned from my previous foray that i should not underestimate the need for the strong painkillers. I have not yet seen any stones yet. I have taken 2 norco. Hopefully that is enough.

Ill let you know how I fare as the days go on. Hopefully the stones pass out quickly and with minimal pain. I don't want to be throwing up and running to the ER on Christmas eve or christmas day.

Peace out!

Rob

Rob,

I hope the technicians were able to reduce your stones to a size small enough to be passed with minimal pain. Keep us informed.

Rob,
Hope you pass them with minimal pain, with the pain pills make sure you drink the heck out of water and use stool softeners. You don't need to lock up your bowels through this trying time. Good Luck !!
