Wow many thanks for all you responses it is making me feel a lot more comfortable about this upcoming exciting trip.
Have been browsing North Shore care supplies and think this is the supplier I will be ordering from. Now my next question is can anyone give any insight / recommendations on some of their products as quite a few I have not heard of before. Back here in England I am using Tena slip Maxi 24/7.
1. Have been looking at the North Shore supreme briefs and Air Supreme brief. These appear to be very absorbent but are they ridiculously bulky for daytime use?
2. Is the tranquillity ATN. I know ATN stand for all through the night but are these a feasible option for day and night? also the price is good which also makes me worried that perhaps they are not any good.
3. Wellness briefs??? seems very expensive. Or are they that good its worth it!

I am aware I will be driving some days for 7+ hours and am aware leaks are more common when sitting. Now time for a stupid question!!!! Do I need to worry about protecting the seat of the hire car? I hope not to leak but if I am honest with myself it is probably going to happen.

I wear tranquility ATN day and night. I am totally bladder inconvenient and my issue is slow drain to a major flood. They have covered my condition very well. I get them from Elite Medical out of California and deliver in two days to Illinois. I am very happy so far with service and the product. Because they say over night doesn't mean they are super thick that you cant conceal them. Wellness diaper are great but a little to expensive for me right now, I have tried them and like them. Have a great time on your trip !!

Maximusno2, I would buy a pack or 2 of disposable surface bed pads to sit on while you're long-distance driving.

I wear these every day as my daytime diaper. I don't find them to be too bulky at all for daytime use and they hold very well. I would almost say they are less bulky than the abena's.

Sorry for the late response but been working my butt off doing overtime the last week or so saving some extra money for what I hope is going to be an epic trip. Leaving on Thursday and super excited and should probably think about packing soon!!!!!
I made my mind up and ordered a case of northshore supreme briefs and a single pack of Tranquility ATN. Thought I would do this so I can trial the Tranquility and decide which is better for when I have to place another order at some point during my trip. Also ordered some disposable bed pads to put under the sheets of the hotel beds just in case my protection lets me down.
I contacted the hotel I am staying at the first two nights and informed them a large package would be arriving with my name, reservation number etc and they were more than happy to hold it for me which puts my mind at rest greatly.
