Thanks everyone. Things went well. We had a good if not soggy, rainy time. We spent a good amount of time in the pool. As far as diapers goes, I brought some of my "off stock". Those that I do not use on a regular basis but have amassed a good deal of. Most of these were breathable, cloth like diapers that I do not use but have gotten as samples here and there. Plust I had a pack of A+ from XP for night time wear. As soon as I went to put on the A+, I found it wouldn't fit me anymore. Darn weight gain! So I trashed them and went on to plan B. I had brought along some cloth diapers and PUL pants just in case I needed them. So I went with that as plan B for overnight and the breathables for daytime wear. It all worked out well and I had no unexpected accidents and was able to control most of the time which was good.

So, I was able to use up some diapers that I don't normally use and reduce my stock pending our move in August. That much less to move!

If I've learned anything is that you always need a plan B. With incontinence, you never know what to expect so always be prepared. Maybe it is the boyscout in me.

Anyway, we were staying in a cabin and had all of our meals at my mother's trailer. The shower facility was in the clubhouse and was more public than private. (private shower stalls in a public restroom outside the pool). Lucky for me I had already had the talk about the diapers with my daughter as there was no way of hiding it from her. I didn't intentionally hide anything from my mother but didn't go out of the way let her know either. Nothing came up either. So, all is well.

Glad it all went well. Msshendo. It gives me anxiety when I'm going to be in a strange place being relatively new to incontinence with diapers and being a catheter user as well. I need a clean bathroom to change and sanitize by leg bag/overnight bag morning and night. Just curious, how old is your daughter and what kind of talk did you have with her? I'm curious as my boys are 5 1/2 and 4 and I've told them that I wear a different kind of underwear because I leak, and I use the catheters
("pee thing") because I have a "hard time" peeing (extreme urinary frequency) I don't get into too much detail with them, and don't call them diapers in front of the kids, though I do use the term when talking with the wife.

PB&J, my daughter is 7. She and I talked about the "underwear" that daddy uses and why and that we don't talk to other people about our underwear. I had a post about this in this topic called "Not keeping it a secret" some time ago. Feel free to check out that post if you like.

I would not suggest where we went for sanitary cath'ing.
