Hi all,
Been driven nuts by the heat and the sweat that pads cause. My wife agreed that I don't need a daytime pad unless I'm wearing dress pants or I feel I'm having a bad day. She's willing to tolerate stained drawers. Not wearing protection every night but often do if I feel really tired and I might sleep through a signal to use the can. If I've fallen asleep on the couch my wife will sometimes bring me protection and I'll put it on. Still taking pygeum 1-2x a day which really helps the strength of the urine stream. I do notice that missing the pygeum for even a day really does reduce stream strength and increases dribbling. I'm also "milking" after going and that helps somewhat.

Flying cross country to visit relatives in July. Night time accidents are rare but I will bring protection along and wear it at night. Unless protection actually gets used, I'll just bring them home in my suitcase and dispose of it there. I don't want relatives to know of my issues.

Hi PB&J32,
My issues are so bloody mild compared to everyone else here that I hesitate to ever post. I half expect someone to say, "get the hell outta here and come back when you have a real problem." I post I guess because my problem, though mild, is annoying as heck and it feels good to be able to whine or rant on occasion.

G, wearing protection on your flight is only prudent. However, it would be wise to be sure that your "protection" is somewhat more than you actually think you might need. Prepare for the worse. Plan ahead re whether you think you might need to change at your arrival airport, or wait until your final destination. If the latter, be sure that your protection will last that long reliably.

Good luck with your trip and let us know how it goes.

I won't be wearing anything on the flight itself. We do have a 6 hr drive to the airport and I suppose if we got off late from the house and had to drive mostly non-stop that I might wear protection in the car. But I'm not afraid of a mass leak in the car or on the plane. I would only be wearing protection at night in bed. I rarely but occasionally wet the bed or wake up badly needing to go. As long as I can keep my need for protection discreet, I will wear protection to avoid soaking my parent's spare bed.

On second thought, I might wear a guard on for the flight. Sometimes dribbles happen when exercising (like with each push of the weight bar) so perhaps a guard would be prudent in case of a bouncy flight.

I've been pretty much dry for the last few weeks. Then I flew to Tokyo last weekend. It's hot and muggy here. Then tonight, on the way from work to my hotel, I noticed the front of my slacks is soaked. Good thing I had my sports jacket to carry in front of me. Nobody seemed to notice. Sure hope this isn't a sign of anything, IC-wise. Not sure what I can find here to wear on the flight home later this week.

I'm pretty sure Japan has the highest adult diaper consumption, per capita, in the world. They invented a process that recycles diapers into pellets that can fuel power plants.

You should be able to find something.

I haven't wet the bed in a month (since the square dance night which is all in another posting) and I think the real reason for that is the pygeum which I take 2 pills 2x a day and this dosage is what the bottle recommends. Dribbling, leakage, bedwetting, etc all are abated when I consistently take Pygeum consistently. I've also avoided late caffeine (after 1:00PM) which seems to help too.

We leave Friday for the trip. We've got a 6 hr drive followed by a 2 hr flight. I'm staying with my elderly parents and my wife, daughter, daughter's friend, and mother-in-law are staying at a nearby motel. The bed I sleep in is very comfortable and I'll sleep quite soundly. My wife wants me to wear a diaper, at least for the first night since we'll be getting to my folks at 1:00 a.m. or so. I'm nervous about bringing diapers along, disposing of them, getting them through TSA, etc. I'm only bringing a single carry on bag. Getting rid of or hiding one diaper doesn't sound too bad but I don't know about a weeks worth (I'm assuming 4 diapers, each used twice assuming no wetting).

I think this topic is a good one to explore now since the wife and I are heading to Paris in December and I'll have to face this all again.

Not that hard to hide.

Bring a gallon, zip lock, freezer bag to seal each diaper in. Slip them into a garbage bag and run them out.
