So I've been having trouble with my diaper delivery and I think I'm just going to avoid deliveries all together and go cloth.
Better for the environment etc too.
So here is where you all come in.
I want to do the pull up style. I can spend like a hundred bucks this first time.
What is the best ones to get and where can I get them?

I use twill prefolds from Changing Times Diaper Company (http://www.changingtimesdiaperco.com). They seem to have the best prices and the service has been really good. I also use Snappi fasteners. For me they are easier and quicker to use than pins. As for cover pants.....the most durable and comfortable I have found are Gary Active Briefs. They are fairly new to the market and can be purchased on line at places like Amazon. Before these came along I have used standard plastic cover pants. The high waist version seem to give me the best coverage. I suggest you take time to read the diaper primer on this site and pay attention to diaper capacity and pant sizing recommendations. That depends. How absorbant do you want them to be? How thick can you stand them to be? Do you want them to be full protected, ie. around the sides as well for sleeping on your side or just front down through the crotch and back? You also need to consider PUL or other type of covering pants to guard against leaks. Keep that in mind when ordering. You need to factor in laundering cycles. How often will you be able to get to wash them? How long will one last before you have to change will dictate how many you need in one day and that will dictate how much laundry you need to do.

Consider those questions. I am sure others will have more input for you as well. As far as some places to shop. Here are some that I have found. You can also do a google search for Adult Cloth Diapers and come up with a pretty good list.

Angel Fluff Diaper Company - http://www.angelfluff.com - has a pretty good supply of flat and prefolds NOT pull ons but also has plastic pants (definite need)

Adult Cloth Diaper - http://www.adultclothdiaper.com - has a good supply including pull ons. They also have sections about cloth diapers and about diaper washing and folding and such. Also about plastic pant care. Good stuff there. Learned a lot at that site. It is actually from that site that I found this one.

And there is another one that I used to know of that I cannot remember right now. If I recall it I will come back and post it another time.

I have used the ones from baby-pants. Great twill- after a few washings they become very fluffy and super absorbent. I have never used rearz, but I know several who have and they find them very affordable. Note however, that they are in Canada.

ACD is a good company and good cloth diaper. Two night weight gauze diapers will last you easily through the night no matter how heavy you wet. No leaks! But there will be times you will still want to wear disposable diapers so have them available. You will also enjoy the comfort of cotton against your skin. Papa

I wear gauze prefolds from Angelfluff Diaper Service.

They are wonderfull.

I used to wear flannel prefolds but the drying time was longer than I wanted.

I'm also a huge fan of Changing Time Diaper Company! It's all based on prefrence. Much like diposable diapers, you'll have to give different styles of a cloth diapers a try until you find the right combo. Personally my favorite is CTDC cotton twill contour diaper (diaper service quality), it comes witih a insert that lays the complete length of the diaper. I like mine thicker or I don't sleep well because of feer of leaking. I'll take 2 diaper service quality baby prefolds and fold them in thirds with a size 5 pampers or huggies overnight diaper in the front. In the back I fold the 2nd prefold in a size 3 pampers or huggies overnight diaper. I use snappies to hold the diaper tight. For some reason if my diaper isn't tight, it doesn't feel right for me. I take one size 2 and use it as Snappies recomends them to be used. Then for extra tightness I take 2, one on each side, cut the short piece off and strech those to keep the diaper tight. For a cover I've had a couple lady's on Etsy make me a few custom fit PUL diaper covers that have snaps on the front. With this diaper combo, first I have never leaked **knock on wood** and second, now that summer is approaching, I don't sweat like I did with disposable diapers or using plastic pants. Give it a shot, you won't want to go back to disposables. When ever I have to wear a disposable, when traveling or doctor's appointment, it remides me why I never want to go back.

Remember that cloth's virtue, its' ability to wick moisture, can also be a vice. If you are not careful to tuck every stray bit of fabric inside a waterproof overpant, a cloth diaper can wick moisture out to the bedding when you sleep, or onto clothing when you're out and about. That happened to me last night.
