XP Med has announced that diaper prices are going up. :( Most noticeable is the price of the ConfiDry 24/7 which has been available at a reduced promotional price which is ending on April 25th. It appears that the new price may be about 24% higher, although Gary hopes to negotiate a permanent small price reduction, TBD.

Although I recently had ordered an additional case of Dry 24/7 in anticipation of this price increase, I just ordered another. :D

If you are an XP Med customer, as I think most of us are, you may wish to replenish your diaper supplies now.

justj,

XP Med indicates that, at the present time, the prices on the A+ are not affected.

I was hoping they wouldn't raise the price! I did order 2 cases that I just got so I'm good for a little longer. It'll be hard to stomach 120.00 per case again. I hope it doesn't happen. Sometime it seem like they got you right where they want you.

Don, I could not agree more. The ConfiDry 24/7 at the promotional price was an excellent value. The Dry 24/7 had little competition at that price point. It will be a little less competitive at the new price, but, remember that the new price still is being negotiated by Gary of XP Med.

I agree with you. I just found out about the price increase and quickly emailed Gary. I am now on the auto ship and I do not want to be paying over a hundred bucks for any diaper. I love the Comfy Dry diapers however I WILL love them much less if the price goes up. I sent instructions that when the price takes affect to switch me to the absorbancy plus level fours.

I'm not at all keen on forking over another $240.00 per year either. It's a great product for me and would hate to make any kind of change at this point. Makes me feel a little trapped. I've tried those level 4 products & without the cuffs they are pretty much worthless in my opinion. Using a booster with them just makes matters worse. I really hope they rethink the price increase as this may cost the company more by lost sales than they would gain. By no fault of my own I'm incontinent and I need to manage it. Getting no help from my health insurance doesn't help either.... and I have a good policy! I need a quality product that I can afford. I can't just stop protecting myself. IF insurance did cover these products I know for a fact that the diaper companies would sell the products to them at a much reduced rate while maintaining quality. They would do it because they have increased volume of product sold. This is all very very frustrating. They know they have a captive market.

I don't know but maybe it's time to move to cloth. I've no idea if anybody has any experience on what to get & what to use to try & get through a 24 time period on 3-4 changes per day? What combination? Any help out here?

XP Medical has posted some new diaper prices.

My favorite, the ConfiDry Dry 24/7 now costs $113.95 for a case of 72 diapers in size Large ($1.58 per diaper). :( That is up from $99.95.

So far there is no change to the posted prices for the A+, the Seni Quatro, or the breathable Tena Slip Maxi.
