Sandy,
Back when I first became incontinent, I used the Depends a lot. Back then they were that pretty puke green color. There wasn't much choice other than Attends, and I used the Attends a lot back then.
I didn't mind the Depends back then, but it seems thay were more absorbant back then, though. When they changed the color to white, they got thinner. I would use a Depend if I had light incontinence, but if I ever flood, they would leak horribly  !!
My Tranquility slimeline I'm using now during the day are working fine. My wife only complains she can hear them at home. Really that's OK since we're alone at home now since the kids have moved out. At work, you can't hear them at all with all the office noises!
At least the Depends are pretty discreet as far as bulkiness. Best I can remember, they are pretty noisey. ......Paul Martin

Yes I remember those old green Depends well. You people that never had to wear those don't know how good you got it now :D I never thought they were that good even back then I always liked the Attends better. But then the attends back in the late 80's early 90's had that inside backing that when it was wet would tend to stick to your skin. But the protection wasn't to bad Back then I mainly just had to wear full briefs at night. and could get away with pads during the day. That was the good ole days

These new Depends aren't as loud as I remember the other ones being. Or at least they don't seem any worse then the Attends. Wearing a pair of mesh panties over them seems to knock the noise down fairly well.
..............Sandy :D

Well Jane was over the other day with the kids We had a nice time. I had to step out for a little bit When I came back she was talking to my husband about how he's able to handle me with my problem and what to do about her husband. She said that her husband really doesn't care what my husband thinks. And also says that he doesn't understand  We had a good laugh over that one

Jane's husband is constantly giving her a hard time. And makes comments like how he can't tell if she's the one that needs a change or if it's one of the kids. Or calling her plastic butt in public. Or as I stated before when driving somewhere he won't stop and let her find a restroom.
He tells her you'd just wet yourself anyway so why stop :!:
Use your diaper that's why you got it. Or how about You enjoy wearing those things so why don't you use it. Then there's the one last week she said he refused to stop and she flooded and leaked on the seat. She got yelled at for that  Or last but not least she was saying that she was changing one of the kids asked her husband to go get a diaper. He comes back with two one was hers and one for the kid. Mind you one of his buddies was there so he made it well known that he accidentally grabbed one of hers by mistake :x I won't be surprised if these two are going to be headed for divorce court.
Sometime I'd like to get alone with him and forget I'm a lady :x .......................Sandy

Sandy,
It makes me so sad to hear that. I really think once you're married, it's for life, for better or worse. But I believe Jane is taking verbal abuse that is not called for. I really wish her husband can just wake up and realize what he is doing, and see that he could lose his wife.
I'll keep them in my prayers! ........Paul Martin

Well Jane and the kids is spending the day with us. I went out bought some presents for Jane and the kids last night at Walmart. I may have went a little overboard but it's so much fun buying presents for little ones. I got them each a giant teddy bear and then a bunch of assorted toys for each child. I got some ear rings for Jane and a couple of sweaters. My husband was going to get something for Jane's husband even know he won't be here.

Janes husband decided to take a "hot load" with his truck yesterday he left last night and won't be back till late tomorrow. But Jane says she thinks he just did it for an excuse to get away. Personally I don't think she cares to much if he's around or not right now. But wishes he was for the kids. But anyway it works out good for us. We had relatives over for the weekend but now it's just the two of us so having Jane and the kids here will be fun.

Well Jane just left a little while ago. We had a good time Yesterday Janes youngest had more fun with the empty boxes then the contents from them  They stayed for supper last night and then ended up spending the night. We had a hot card game going between the three of us. The children ended up falling asleep in the living room. :) By the time we got done with the cards it was after midnight. I told Jane no sense in waking them up. So I gave her the guest room. her and the youngest slept in there.

Funny Jane says to me I don't have any protection when I told her to stay the night. I said I think I can cover you there  I gave her one of those Abri Form X plus to wear. Then told her this morning if she wanted to change she could get a fresh diaper out of the closet in the bathroom. She said no I'm fine. I said after all the soda you drank last night? She said well yes I'm wet but the brief doesn't feel all that wet I can go for awhile yet. I told her I wouldn't make a habit of that :? It's a great way to get a rash. She said don't worry about it I'm fine no sense in wasting diapers.

I got to give her credit for someone that hasn't been in full diapers for that long she sure is at ease about it. She had a loose pair of Jeans over the brief but with the size of one of those Abri Form's it shows in her pants. When she left she had a insulated flannel on that hung down close to the crotch so it covered it OK. But I'm not sure I would go out in public like that. Unless she is going straight home I guess I didn't think of that?

Anyway all for now.........................Sandy :)

Sandy,
Is Jane's incontinence that light that she can wake up and not have a pretty wet diaper?
Once I'm asleep, my bladder just empties as it wishes, and in the morning I'm pretty soaked. If I sat down, I know I would leak. Or it could be the Abri Form diaper she wore really is a good diaper. I have never used them before. That was nice that you could offer her help and let her kids stay over and have some more fun. ......Paul Martin

From what Jane has told me She rarely wakes up in time at night most nights she soaks her diapers. Up until a few weeks ago she only had Depends or assurances to wear at night and we all know what there like at night. During the day is bad enough for most of us. Unless of course you add a booster or two.

From what I remember when she told me about her night time issues she use to wear one of the two and sleep on a pad. And most mornings both would be wet. I gave her some better diapers to wear a few weeks ago. I know I mentioned the Tena ultras I've also given her some Molicares Supers and I think I gave her a few super pluses as well to try. Along with a few Abri Forms X plus. and Tranquility ATN's and I've given her a few packs of the Full contour Tranquility booster pads and a few packs of the Attend boosters along with some Attends with the waist band.

You name it I've got it or I've tried it at one time or another. When you buy most of your stuff on EBay and your always looking for the best deal. You tend to buy allot of different brands. Lately I've run into several screaming deals wear I really didn't need them but what they have been selling for It's best not to turn them down. Besides my young friend buys from me. And one Jane starts to find what works for her I'm sure I'll be selling some to her as well. My friend Tammy buys them from me once in a great while. But with her she can get away with belted undergarments or Pull ups most of the time. But when I do see a good deal on those I give her a call and ask if she wants them.

In reality I think Jane is allot like Tammy during the day. Where she has allot more control then I or my Young Friend does. Jane when I first got to know her was wearing a combination of pull-ups and light duty briefs during the day. But now seems to be more into the briefs rather then the pull-ups. I think it's more of a security thing for her during the day and Briefs with the tapes are allot easier to change when your already dressed. Also the briefs give you more piece of mind in case you can't get to a restroom in time.......................Sandy :)

Paul you also asked about what the Abri Forms were like. I would have to say the Super X plus is about the closes thing to a heavy duty cloth diaper you can get and still be a disposable. When they are dry they are thick enough to tend to make you waddle when you walk. When the crotch area has become soaked it's hard not to waddle while walking in them. I've gone as long as 14 hours without changing. But as I remember it wasn't so much that it was totally soaked but that it was getting uncomfortable.......Sandy :)
