I found several of these in a local to me thrift shop. New in package. From the box these are supposed to be used with a disposable liner that is waterproof on one side. Anyone ever heard of these or have tried them? I purchased one pair to find out what they were. They have a waistband that is elasticated with velcro that wraps around you attach it to itself in the front. Then you pull the flap up between your legs that contains the pad and velrco the flap to the waistband in the front.
I am guessing these are old stock that was donated, I cannot find anything about them on Google or on the Attends website. For $1.90 per pair I hope I cannot go wrong...

I've seen something similar for incontinence, not this brand. I have never used it. A couple of generations ago, after the advent of disposable pads but before they had adhesives to put in underwear, women used something similar for menstruation. to be changed every few hours, on average. But the actual volume of blood/fluid that generally needs to be absorbed is less than in bladder incontinence. Unless your incon is very minor or you have a very huge liner, I have my doubts about the effectiveness, and I am a woman with partial incon, who sometimes does use liners.

And there we have the answer! I have now tried these since I had bought a pair and found then to be "ok" on my rating scale. Not a lot to go on since I have only tried them once. But the pants did keep my reusable pad from moving around and making me uncomfortable.

And my incontinence is minor as compared to some. Enough during the day to make me uncomfortable and to worry about it showing on my pants. At this point I can take care of this with various pads and pants. Both washable and disposable.
