i promised an update on this had the physio come out to see me today and was not too happy with my situation and is wanting me to go as a day patient for physio at the hospital as the diagnoses made needs special exercises
it would seem that the potassium problem what i suffered from while in hospital has come back to haunt me although i have since had a blood test which has come okayish i am now facing a heart scan this is getting way beyond me. i have been monitoring my B.P as potassium issues can cause the B.P to go all over the place and from been what i call unstable this is now settling down i have also down the sitting and standing test and they are also within good ranges. tachy heart problem is also now good.
as for the incontinence i have had some pretty bad bowel leakages and it is going high at the back of diaper so a rethink is needed in this.
i am in the UK so wondering if there are higher backed nappies or if some insert would be better, any input more than welcome from both the UK people and you nice people in the USA.
for now i am taking it steady as instructed but it is hard from been fairly independent and mobile to going through this, the thinking process can be very hard as everything has to be thought through.
also it would seem that i am down to having an operation but get this, no one has actually told me what it is for and i have been ringing around to find out what it is about, the problem is that i am under 4 hospital department teams
dinner time tomorrow i have someone coming to see me to assess me for personnel care that will be interesting to say the least.
at least things are starting to progress. one final thing i have been told to more or less sleep upright with a big sigh as laying too low is inducing the benign positional vertigo or BPPV.
for now take care all out there,
mikey
