Count me among the refugees from that other site. On one hand, I agree that we are right to be concerned that our privacy could be compromised. However, we need to be honest about this brave new electronic world in which we live. Every keystroke we make is recorded somewhere, by computers programmed to email us advertisements trying to sell us vacations, property, insurance, or, in this case, incontinence supplies. In the face of this commercial onslaught, old taboos are dropping like rain from a thunderstorm. We need to develop a new sense of privacy, one that acknowledges both who we are, and that takes seriously the threats to who we are.

I have been busy with some urgent things, but I wanted to log in and touch base.

I understand the reluctance of some to not trust a post by a guy who hasn't posted here much lately. The past few years have been tough, with caregiving and a lot of other stuff I had to get through. It seems the members who have been around a long time remember me from years back then, but the ones who joined in the past few years are going... who? That is my fault. Looking at it from that perspective, I would react the same.
