I am considering trying Dry24/7 diapers. I live in Canada. Insofar as I can tell, the only Canadian supplier of this brand is an outfit called Care Down There, which is located in Edmonton. Has anyone bought from this company? Are they reliable? Does anyone know of any other Canadian supplier?

ADHB,
I went to Xpmedical's website. They carry the Dry 24/7 diaper. I found that they do ship to Canada to answer your question. When I went to their website, under shipping on the left tab, there is a Q and A on common shipping questions. There I found your answer. They had this to say:

Yes, we do ship to Canada. The shopping cart will automatically apply the correct shipping charge by selecting "AirMail to Canada" as the shipping method. Normal delivery time is approximately 5-12 business days, although it depends heavily on the speed at which Canadian customs processes the package. In rare cases, delivery can take up to 30 days. Please note that customs regulations require us to include a "detailed and accurate" description of the order contents on the customs declaration form. The writing is small and generally does not cause any embarrassment. However, if you require 100% anonymous delivery, it is best to order from a local supplier.

--Straight from XPmedicals website! Hope that answers your question.

Don,

Thanks for the info.

Several years ago, I bought a few diapers from XP Medical. The problem is that the order has to go through Canada Customs. Even though the order is properly labelled about the content and even though there is no tax or duty payable in incontinence products, Cananda Customs often refers the package to a custom broker, and the broker charges a fee of around $50 for filling out a more detailed form saying that no tax or duty is payable. It's a scam! But the scam effectively makes it unwise for a resident of Canada to order anything from a company that does not have a distribution centre in Canada.

I believe I did look at their site for disposables as well in the past, but the shipping was alomost as much as a case... astronomical amount of money, I decided to stick to local and get mine there, and NO shipping fees... B4NS has it for Canada included in the prices, which are very decent considering the size of a case if you buy them that way... FFT :) Puffy

B4ns is a wonderful company, very reliable and excellent prices with included shipping. I just wish they sold all the brands that I would like to try.

Adhb,
I did not know that about canadian customs. Its very interesting. Its too bad you can't order from XPmedical. I agree that it does not make sense. A wise man once told me to try to learn something new everyday. Today was a good day. LOL.
