First time getting out of my "bubble" and traveling with my issues. Far less stressful than I made it. Pretty routine actually. I packed more protection than I would need. Made sure I would be staying somewhere where there'd be relative privacy, and mapped out a couple of rest stops that would be hospitable for my needs.

This trip was camping with my family so it was fairly private. There was a VERY clean shower/restroom building close by, and it was not a large and crowded park. I specifically chose the park we stayed at for it's attractions and accommodations. I had never been there, and you never really know what you will end up with, but it was a good pick. I was comfortable and enjoy myself completely. Despite tons of overly friendly critters from being in between a nature, and animal reserve. My dog was in paradise. She comes from a long line of bird dogs, and pointers.

So that's my story. I was a bit nervous about my healing rash I've been battling, but that didn't get any worse. Also, was wondering how night time would go since I usually wear cloth to control leaks. Megamax 1 size bigger than recommended with a booster was a good stand in. I didn't have any problems.

Thanks friends!!

I was glad to read that your vacation was so successful. Successful management can be really ego satisfying. Congratulations. You are a positive example for the rest of us. Bravo!

I’m glad that your trip went well. Over the years, I’ve taken numerous road trips and flown to many different destinations while wearing a diaper. Perhaps my most challenging adventure was a motorcycle trip from Vancouver to Yellowstone Park and then to Calgary. The limited capacity of motorcycle saddle bags required very careful planning and the necessity of doing laundry a couple of times because I was only able to fit in one complete changes of clothes alongside all the diapers I needed to take. But it was a very enjoyable trip.

Traveling always raises my anxiety level to a higher degree. I'm fairly comfortable traveling by car, but when it comes to air travel I get anxious. I'm not as concerned with TSA officials since I'm pretty sure they have seen diapers before. My main issue comes with packing. I have traveled internationally before, and it always becomes a challenge to figure out how many diapers I will need, and how to pack them. My wife and I will be traveling to Europe a couple of times next year. One of the trips is in Ireland with a small group of people that I don't know. The other is on a cruise from Venice to Athens. Both of these trips will require extra luggage. The other problem is how do I conceal my need to wear diapers from those around me in close quarters. One of the couples we will be with know of my incontinence, but others do not. I'm nervous already!

Well done! It becomes easier once you leave your "bubble." :D

Hey thanks everyone! I really appreciate all the good vibes.

It's worth mentioning that reading other's posts about road trips, and dealing with traveling gave me a lot of confidence.

The anxiety I had didn't live up to the hype, and the planning was useful. dp66 I can relate. I hope your trip goes as smooth and uneventful as mine did. Obviously, I hope you enjoy yourself too.

Thanks again folks!!
