I think that's why we have air conditioning. In the Sunbelt, could not do without it.

Ellyn, I will always claim Texas as my home, but currently live in Oklahoma. I remember growing up in Corpus Christi and it didn't take much to sweat.

I was in the military and stationed in Texas for a few years. I remember 112 degree heat. I live in FL now and it still gets hot...but not DFW hot. Where I live, we have the humidity to make it miserable. I used to use abena disposables. I switched to cloth prefolds so hopefully I don’t sweat as much.

I was born and raised in good old CC Texas during the 50's and 60's. No AC, high humidity and constant SW 10-15 knot breeze off the gulf. Left 37 years ago, but the memory is fresh. A lot has changed.... South Padre is almost unrecognizable with all the condos and houses on man-made canals. And the old floating barge bridges are gone. Still visit occasionally. I have considered retiring there, but I can't imagine dealing with the summer heat (and sand) in disposables or even cloth and plastic pants there. NorCal is tough enough.

DC was built on a swamp so it gets ungodly humid here. Gotta love playing the "am I wet or is that sweat" game.

70's and 80's here, but I was young and could take the heat and luckily I didn't have incontinence. My wife and I went back there a few years ago and alot had changed in the last 20+ years.
