i have never known such a painful condition to have.

it does not help now having it in the rectum i find this part a very strange place to have it.

i am under a general surgeon who will be scoping me so i will then know what damage is been done in the mean time it is recovery very slow this time.

i am on another 8 days of antibiotics and if the pain med isn't working then i have to ring my surgery to see what they can do.

i am very grateful for all the kind wishes and my thoughts are also with those who suffer from this terrible and scary condition.

another update started getting flank pain which i also had last week before going into hospital and apparently i also have a kidney infection on top of diverticulitis.

the hospital presumed it was just the bowel problem hence been under general surgery and really should of been under urology.

i have been told that i may end up going back in for I.V if this doesn't settle down
